I had the great fortune of meeting Kate through one of my bosses at work shortly after getting engaged. Kate not only very quickly won our trust in her work, but also our hearts to her friendship! She was very knowledgeable and friendly during the entire process. She listened to what and who we are as a couple then showed our personalities through her pictures. She took our priorities seriously and captured moments that will live in our home and memories for years to come! Photography and photographers are a big investment because they are worth it! Kate was so wonderful all around! She was awesome with my girls (3.5 and 6 months), especially my older daughter who is very shy at first in these situations. She took time to capture the images we wanted, and was so quick to respond to all of my questions before, during and after our shoot. The pictures are beautiful, and she took so many! Where do I begin on this review? There are so many great things I could say about Kate McStay Photography! FIrst and most importantly, Kate is so easy and comfortable to be around thus making each photography session relaxed and fun which is so important for capturing the important moments of life. Whether it be a screeching newborn or an unexpected addition to the session, Kate welcomes the challenge with her laid back attitude. In fact, Kate has made our sessions so easy and fun that I attempted to photograph my little family of three. Needless to say, my attempt did not result in the same photographs as Kate's and that experience made me value Kate's abilities even more! Kate took our family photos at a farm in Versailles in the Fall. I could not be more impressed. She was able to incorporate all of the beautiful scenery into each one with our family as the focus.
