Kate and her team helped me put together a finished look in my condo. Having recently married at the time, we were also marrying our furniture and tastes. She was able to work with what I had and suggest placement. She also supplied the most beautiful curtains and pillows for a finished look and the gentleman who installed the curtains was a true gem. Furniture layout suggestions that I used over time (couldn't move to quickly with my husband's fear of change) and she found chairs to match my custom dining table. I hired Kate to makeover my new living space - living, dining and kitchen. I had never worked with a design firm before and decided on KMID because Kate was such a breath of fresh air. I was looking for someone who could help make my space eclectic and cool while still being functional and easy. Kate quickly paired me up perfectly with Thiara from her team, who is an absolute style inspiration. Kate and Thiara were amazing to work with!

The experience was very collaborative. Kate and Thiara visited the space and we had a consultation about my thoughts, preferences and budget. A couple weeks later they came back with a design that optimized the layout, incorporated my existing pieces, and added a tremendous mix of unique pieces, fun prints and bold colors. With the proposal and the samples provided, I was able to envision the new space. We discussed each piece individually and as part of the whole so I could really focus on where I wanted to invest. From there we made some tweaks so that the finished space truly feels like it represents me with its mix of vintage pieces, unique lighting and eclectic prints and textures.

I am absolutely thrilled with my new home! It is even more than I hoped for! I would not hesitate to engage with KMID in the future or to recommend their services to others.

Over the last 5 years, Kate has worked on almost every room in my house -- and we've always been extremely pleased with the results. We love that she'll be as collaborative as we want. Sometimes we're heavily involved with making decisions, other times she'll take a general idea and run with it. I have worked with Kate and Kate Maloney Interior Design on a number of occasions. Kate and her incredible team transformed my kitchen, family room and living room and brought warmth, function, and whimsy to our lake house. They understood my needs, the vibe I was going for and were happy to incorporate specific requests in addition to providing great innovative suggestions for fabrics, colors, furniture, and layout. Kate and her team helped me decorate nearly my whole house. She was very organized (three years later, I'm still referring to the documentation). Kate had fabulous, creative ideas and really listened to what my husband and I wanted. Kate helped with everything - choosing light fixtures, bathroom tiles, paint colors, living room furniture, everything I needed.
