I had been to therapy before, but out of town. So, after looking for a psychologist in the area, I found Dr. Eckstein. She was prompt in returning my call, kind on the telephone and helped me set up a plan for treatment on the first visit. I felt like she heard and understood me. I felt hopeful and felt a good connection with her. I have been in therapy for a few months now, and feel much better. I feel more in control of my feelings and life, and am very glad I have started therapy. Dr. Eckstein is there if I need her; she is quick to respond and coaches me or listens to me. She cares about me and it shows in her treatment. Overall, I am less anxious, less depressed and am building my self esteem. More...
