I've known Karol since 2012 when he worked on my investment property in Hudson County. Just a year or so ago, he renovated the bathroom of my home in Bergen County. Karol has completed several jobs for us including kitchen and bath renovations. He even built a custom interior hand railing for a flight of steps that turned out beautiful. We have used him as our go to contractor for about eight years. His prices are always fair and his work is excellent and he can do things on a tight schedule. We first contacted Karol a few years ago to do a small job—installing an entry door and upgrading another one. He was prompt, pleasant to work with, and did the work for a good price. Since then we have called on him several times for various jobs including ceiling repair, attic insulation, replacement of electrical outlets, and window replacement. Larger jobs were updating a powder room and remodeling a kitchen. This work included electrical and plumbing connections, tiling, and new cabinets. Owning several properties for many years, I have dealt with every trade and personality of contractor and handyman. After working with Karol, he has quickly become my go-to for just about every type of project, because he truly "does it all". Over the past several years, Karol's gut-renovated several homes/units of mine, including 5 full bathrooms, 3 full kitchens, a couple dozen rooms requiring several thousands of feet of flooring (hardwood, laminate, tile), lots of electric including dozens of light fixtures (recessed lighting, three-way and four-way switches), new sub panels, indoor and outdoor outlets, plumbing (bath fixtures, appliance hookups, garbage disposal), framing (both wood framing for walls, doors, windows, stairs, and metal framing for a basement), hundreds of feet of drywall, moulding and painting, custom woodworking/shelving, and even masonry (stair repair and new sidewalk flags). Not only is it very convenient to deal with one person end-to-end on these jobs, but Karol sets himself apart with his customer service. I can tell you the worst part of dealing with contractors is their not showing up and not returning calls, but Karol has time and again made himself regularly available to discuss a job, review a decision-point/design configuration and consistently "gets back to you" right away. This is worth it's weight in gold, and still his prices are better than anyone's I've dealt with for the same work.
