Karmagraphy came to perform for our Sangeet inspired event before our wedding. Kavita was my point of contact and was so nice and personable and the group was one of the easiest vendors to work with. We had four dancers perform a bollywood set and then teach some moves to the audience. They came early, and were all amazing!! Our guests were super impressed. Thanks Karmagraphy!!!! My kids elementary school had a multicultural week and two bollywood dancers came to perform for all of the kids. They did three performances during their lunch time. Karmagraphy worked with my budget and they worked out a dance schedule to reach as many kids as possible. The dancers were lovely and amazing! All of the kids really enjoyed the performances. Wow. I am at a loss of words for Kavita and her team..There are a few things that can make or break your wedding and Karmagraphy definitely MADE the wedding. IF i can give brides ANY advice- who cares about the flowers?! Put that budget towards Karmagraphy! I was hesitant at first but after speaking with Kavita, she put me at ease and told me not to worry about anything. And i am one of those brides (as im sure many of the woman reading these reviews are ..) that needs to know what song, what dance, needs a preview, needs to know costume colors, etc. but Kavita told me 'everything has been taken care of and its all done. I just had to come in and devote 90 minutes to learn our first dance and then she will communicate with the DJ.'And let me tell you, on the DAY of the wedding- Karmagraphy (and Bhavin Shah, my DJ) were the only two vendors that i didnt have to worry about and I got the most inquiries from my guests about who they are, how i found them! I cant say ENOUGH great things about Kavita and her team. If I can leave you with this, there was a moment during my wedding, when the team was performing, I was in a trance where I was just paying attention to the dancing and forgot where I was and what I was doing there. .. Engaged the karmagraphy team to help kick off our Henna/Sangeet, and for our wedding day. From the bharaat dancers, to the living statue accentuation four Sitar players performances, the angelic water nymph dancers that lead my bride down the aisle, to the performance pieces and help with our first dance, these performers were absolutely amazing, approachable, and man did they hustle. Kavita was extremely helpful in the planning phase and worked seamlessly with our planners (shout-out to the Ethnic Essence team) to make sure our wedding weekend was unforgettable. Rave reviews from our guests, the dancers were a huge part of the success. Call them now. You won't regret it, you'll be blown away. I can't say enough about how wonderful it was to have karmagraphy involved with our wedding! Â From start to finish, they made it easy and very supportive. Â The performances were wonderful and kept the crowd going! Â They have lots of different dance options to choose from. Â We also did dance lessons through them for our first dance and they choreographed something beautiful and within our range. Â Kavita is so nice, supportive and kind! Aside from our actual wedding ceremony, many of our guests told us that having Karmagraphy perform at our reception was the best part of the day. I have to agree. My mom  had seen a Karmagraphy performance and said they were amazing.  So I inquired to have them be our entertainment for the reception (as much as I love photo booths, they didn't go well with the theme of our wedding).I was so glad to know they were free on our wedding date! I easily booked Kavita's group via email and discussed songs we liked after viewing several video clips she sent me and on her website.  We wanted to celebrate both of our cultures-latin and bollywood- so the songs chosen had those vibes to them.  She gave great suggestions and a list of songs to consider due to their beat. We also were able to choose the costumes for our dancers. The day of, we had two dancers for our bharat (groom's parade) and 6 for our dance numbers.  They did an amazing job with the dances and even did a very clever intro for us! I know that all 208 people who attended their performance this past weekend at Los Angeles Public Library's Taper Auditorium downtown would agree that this was an exciting, seamlessly composed performance, with top-notch dancers and professional moderation and educational sections offered by Kavita Rao, founder of Karmagraphy. Before I booked them I did my research, so I knew they had great reviews and the video snippets I viewed seemed great. I highly recommend Kavita Rao and her team at Karmagraphy Dance Entertainment.We have worked with Kavita twice now for both my daughter and sons weddings in Dec 2015 and March 2017. Both times her services of preparing dance videos to the actual dance practices have been beyond perfect.Kavita and her team deliver on time, their dance videos are excellent and prepared with great care and precision. They are easy for friends to follow in different cities and states till they all get together a few days before the wedding.She is always available for questions, edits, suggestions and willing to change sequences as you go along in the process. Kavita choreographed two dances for my daughters sangeet in December.  She did a fantastic job. From the first time we met to our continued correspondence via emails and texts Kavita was always prompt and delivered a two beautiful dance sequences which were a huge success. Her company Karmagraphy does very well and that is no surprise as she has extensive training in the classical dance styles. Our Videographer recommended Kavita's dance crew for our Sangeet and Reception. Karmagraphy was so easy to work with and responsive. They came prepared and were very professional! We had a fusion Chinese/Indian wedding, completely non-traditional. Kavita helped us with our co-Ed Barat entrance which was a hit. Kavita and Karmagraphy made my husband and I look like we knew what we were doing! They were spectacular! They got our guests pumped and got them to participate and dance. Kavita performed at the Sangeet and danced Bhangra. The dancers were all phenomenal. They even stayed till the end to help us with audience participation after our Dandiya dance. During the reception the dancers did a Bollywood routine and our guests were so impressed. Both nights the dancers were gorgeous and their performances was spot on! They added a special touch to our Indian fusion wedding. Kavita even went out of her way to help one of my guest tie her saree after showing up uncomfortable and awkward in it, Kavita helped her tie the saree and put my guest at ease.
