Karen and Glyn were the photographers at our wedding in February.
Right from the very first meeting they made us feel at ease.
The preshoot photos were fabulous and we really looked forward to the big day.
On the day of the wedding Karen and Glyn made us feel really relaxed. They were full of enthusiasm and you can tell they really do love the job they do.
They captured the day perfectly with some super natural happy shots taken which we didn't even realise were being photographed.
The album which we received is beautiful and will give us a life time of memories to cherish.

Excellant service from a very friendly couple, getting 2 extremely proffesional photographers for the price of 1 is definatly an advantage.

Photos are perfect and all items bought (canvas print and albums) are of an extremely high standard.

If you buy a package from karen jones photography you know what your getting and paying up front - some of the cheaper photographers do not include albums etc in the price - giving you an unexpected outgoing at the end.

Highly recommend Karen and Glynn, they are so friendly yet super professional. They take the time to listen to your requirements and make sure these are all covered on the big day. Karen and Glyn have been AMAZING throughout the planning of our wedding, from the minute we first contacted them until today, the day we received our beautiful album � We first had a meeting with them to discuss what we would like on the day & to ensure no photographs of family & friends would be missed. One of the main reasons I booked them is because being somebody who loves photographs myself I didn't want anything at all to be missed on the day, right down to fine details. As they both work together & there are 2 pairs of eyes it was guaranteed that nothing at all was missed. On the morning Karen stayed with the girls & got all of our getting ready shots, while Glyn stayed with the boys & got shots of all of our guests arriving. There are shots of the back & front of my dress coming down the aisle too, I love the fact that my pictures are from different perspectives. Nothing was too much for them, they have got some amazing shots despite the foggy and gloomy weather which made the lake I was getting married next too impossible to see. They knew the venue & where they would get the shots they needed & they didn't disappoint. They worked brilliantly alongside other people such as my wedding planner & videographer too, to ensure that everything ran smoothly/went perfectly for us. Karen and Glyn where fantastic for our wedding. Very organised and nothing was to much to ask. Storm Barbara struck on our wedding day so gyln arranged for me to go out a few days later for some outdoor shots without any extra cost just so we had some nice photos for our album. Karen and Glyn were absolutely amazing from the moment we first contacted them to the day of the wedding. We got married at a venue they had never been to before and the care and attention they paid was amazing. It was obvious they had taken the time to look around all the grounds extensively before it was even time to meet up with us. They knew exactly where to take us to get the most stunning backgrounds it was fantastic. Karen was with me for the morning while my bridesmaids and I were getting ready, and even helped with our dresses. Glyn stayed with the boys. It was amazing to get both aspects of the day, what the girls were doing and what the boys were doing.
They got so many photos all of amazing quality, and they were so relaxed and fantastic to work with, Glyn even ended up carrying my drinks around for half the day. I can never thank them enough as they really did capture our whole day for us and we will cherish those photos forever.
I would happily recommend Karen Jones Photography to anyone looking for a photographer for their wedding or any other big event.

We booked Karen for our wedding in June at Inn on the Lake in Glenridding, Ullswater. From the outset, Karen instilled confidence. She even did a pre wedding photo shoot to help us get to know her and for her to get to know us and our needs. The pre shoot photos were stunning and made us even more excited for our big day.
On the day, Karen was a star! She effortlessly captured the day unfolding and had a natural flair at rounding up errant guests for their time in the spotlight. She took stunning pictures of all aspects of our day, with great insight and professionalism.
The service offered more than lived up to expectations and was excellent value for money.
After the wedding, Karen guided us through the whole process of looking through the hundreds of pictures taken to finally choose the selection for our album.
At all times, Karen listened to our ideas and used these to develop the look of our wedding album.

Where do I begin?
As the bride i visited many photographers at several wedding fayres but both James and myself always came back to Karen and Glyn.
From our first meeting with Glyn we felt totally at ease and we just "clicked" knowing our wedding photos were in safe hands.
On the morning of our wedding Karen arrived on time and got straight to business happily snapping away capturing those special spur of the moment photos, that looking back on, i forgot had happened.
Throughout the day we were always asked if we were happy to try a style of photo and were never made to feel uncomfortable. Even with a slight change of request nothing was too much trouble.
Now we have received our album and after looking through, the photos are more amazing than we ever thought possible.
I would have no hesitation in recommending this fantastic couple to photograph your wedding! Nothing is ever to much trouble and they make having your photos taken an enjoyable part of the day.

Hi Karen & Glyn,
Just been looking through Gemma & Pauls album, FANTASTIC.
We cannot thank you both enough for the brilliant work you did for us all on that beautiful day.
We had a great wedding & really didn't notice at the time the effort you put in to capture those memories forever: for a lot of those images we didn’t even notice you were there & often the more natural ‘not posed for’ images are beautiful, surprising & great fun!
I can imagine it must be quite a stressful job, you are of course aware people expect so much from you, after the wedding is over, the next exciting thing is looking through the pictures of that wonderful day, and you certainly delivered.
It was really nice to meet you both too, I hope you enjoyed photographing our day as much much as we enjoyed you being there for us.
You both provided a great service, putting us all at ease right away, keeping a close eye on times to prevent the guests waiting around & of course made it very enjoyable for everyone. We had seen your work previously, so we didn’t have to ‘hope’ the pictures would be good, we could relax & enjoy the whole day because we KNEW we would be delighted, but even then, nothing can prepare you for when you first see your work, it’s very emotional!
Looking forward to seeing the pictures Paul & Gemma will choose to put in the finished album now!
