What do you love most about your job?
Meeting new people all of the time. Being able to walk away from a client knowing that you have helped and guided them in an area which sometimes can be a bit daunting for them. You gain someone's trust and they become clients for life along with their family members, you almost feel like you have become part of their extended family. Gaining their trust is a massive part of making my business work, they have to discuss things about their finances that probably even their own families aren't aware of. Recognition of your gained trust is when a friend of theirs calls you to say you have been recommended, that's when you know you have done a good job for your client.
What inspired you to start your own business?
After many years in a bank I became institutionalised, albeit I loved being part of a big bank for many years I was always inquisitive as to what it was like in the big wide world. The opportunity came for me a couple of years ago and have never looked back. The freedom of being able to spend as much time with your clients as they need, instead of being ruled by hourly slots in a bank. The face to face service that my clients love in the comfort of their own home or environment. The flexibility of being able to see a client out of normal business hours to suit their own commitments. You can truly give excellent customer service that your clients want and deserve.
Why should our clients choose you?
Every client has different circumstances and different levels' of understanding and want you to fit around their needs. My approach is flexible whilst remaining professional and can offer a multitude of services for them. I am married and have three children and I totally understand life's challenges and can relate to what we have to deal with in our everyday life and therefore I am realistic as well in my approach.
