We used Bruce Kaplan and staff for our daughter's wedding catering needs. The day was cold and blustery and the schedule changed several times because of the unexpected weather. Yet Bruce and staff went with all the changes as they came and put on a beautiful buffet. The chopped pork BBQ and brisket were the BEST I have ever eaten - and many guests asking who this catering company was! They cleaned up well, left the place nice, wrapped the food, and were just a pleasure to work with! I recommend them 100%!!! More...

Kaplan Catering service was highly professional, prompt and certain to provide us with every opportunity to be comfortable with our meal selections. Bruce and Lisa were beyond accommodating and aimed to ensure our day was without flaws. We had salmon and chicken cooked to perfection! My son used Kaplan Catering for a party at his house.The food was excellent!The fried chicken was crispy, the pulled pork was very tasty, prepared just right, and their Carolina vinegar sauce was great, sour with a hint of sweetnessIf you're going to have a party and want genuine southern cooking  give them a call

WOW! I was blown away with what Chef Kaplan cooked up at one of the tastings at Events at Newton Square and at one of the bridal shows in Raleigh.
Of course I booked with him right away! I received so many compliments from my friends and family who attended our wedding that the food was the best they'd ever had at a wedding.. and these were seasoned professionals in attending weddings!
The menu options were customizable, Chef Kaplan was quick to provide great suggestions for us, and it was so affordable! I couldn't have been more satisfied with a caterer - Kaplan offered everything I could have imagined!
