My children have been attending Kanshin Karate Club for a year. We couldn't be happier. Our Sensei, Avi, goes above and beyond to help the children learn and progress. He is really approachable and dedicated. The atmosphere of the club is extremely friendly and positive. It is easy to wait for the children as the venue is very comfortable. The wider karate community is extremely welcoming and the children benefit from guest Senseis from time to time. My children are always really happy to attend their lessons and are making great progress in terms of skills, fitness and character. Overall an excellent club! More...

Kenmei Karate, and its chief instructor Sensei Neil, inspired me to take up karate. Learning a martial art like karate requires enthusiasm and commitment - both from the student as well as the instructor. And Neil is one solid committed instructor. Absolutely dedicated to his students, always patient and always guiding us through our kumite, the kata, the bunkai, the kihon... it is an rare honour to be learning from Sensei Neil.Very highly recommended. Having trained at a good number of martial arts clubs, I came across Kenmei just over a year ago, and the experience has been all positive. The instructor really knows his stuff and the other members of the club are very friendly and welcoming. Thoroughly recommended. More...

If Heineken did karate clubs it would not be half as good as Kenmei. I've trained at half a dozen KUGB clubs in Surrey and this is by far the best. Mostly because of the instructor Neil Jerome, but not least because of the members. More...
