Food is incredible - all fresh, and seemingly homemade. Nothing tasted frozen or like it was just microwaved before given to you. We had the green chile cheeseburger and the kamikaze chicken sandwich - they were both huge sandwiches! We also upgraded to the truffle fries, which we did not regret. ! The staff is super friendly and helpful! I don't usually do reviews but had to give a shout out!

They gave me some recommendations (one of my kids has a food allergy) and every one got exactly what they wanted! I heard about their chicken wonton nachos from some friends of mine and had been patiently waiting to get my share! Low and behold! They were at my favorite watering hole. I was about to order from somewhere else and i get a text "kamikaze is at la cumbre!" Just in time! I stopped what I was doing and waited for my ride! So glad that I had some heads to feed so we could order a few items on the menu. We made out with 2 orders of their chicken wonton nachos. Sweet and sour and general tso's. As well as their Eggroll-rito! Its basically their version of a burrito made with an asian fusion twist. Instead of a flour tortilla it's a large eggroll wrapper filled with fried rice and your choice of chicken (we went with orange chicken). It's served cut in half and drizzled with a tasty wasabi mayo!Everything was soooooo good. The wonton chips stayed crunchy til the very last piece! Their jalapeños were super fresh and spicy. Which added a nice kind of heat. The asian sauces were flavorful and generously covered the chicken. The eggroll-rito was delicious too! Such a great idea! It wrapper was crunchy and it wasn't greasy at all. We had a few more people join us so a couple more items were ordered. A green chile cheeseburger with a side of fries and an order of cheeseburger eggrolls. Those eggrolls. Bomb. Came with a side of spicy ketchup too! The presentation of the fries in a to go chinese box was uber cute and really tied into their asian fusion theme. A nice touch in my book. I was super happy and impressed with their service and food! Everything is made fresh to order and the servings meet the mark on the price in my book! Wow. Why an amazing truck. For those that don't know the head chef used to be a part of Blazing Barn and has now built his own truck and delicious menu. We stopped by last Wednesday at Marble Westside and literally ordered almost the whole menu because it all sounded so good. My favorite so far is the bacon jam mac and cheese rolls, so good! What’s your signature dish?
Eggroll-arito: Green Chile fried rice, fortune cookie batttered fried chicken, choice of house sauce (Sweet N' Sour, Orange, General Tso) all rolled up in a 14 inch eggroll paper, deep fried, cut in half and drizzled with homemade wasabi mayo.
How do you go about creating the perfect menu for your clients?
We discuss, in depth all of our clients dietary needs as well as their vision for their catered event and create a menu with our clients based on that information.
What do you love most about your job?
We love being able to interact with our customer and getting to really know them. We also enjoy the challenge of coming up with the perfect dish for each customer, even if its not on the menu and something completely customized.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Chef Nic grew up with a dad who was also a Chef and has always loved food. His dad worked in prestigious country clubs but would pick up shifts on the weekend at a Chinese restaurant rolling all their eggrolls for the week. His dad would occasionally bring home eggroll papers and roll up whatever was in the fridge. This was something Chef Nic always loved and wanted to incorporate into his food along with the southwestern flair he fell in love with after moving to New Mexico 6 years ago.
