We had two beautiful hula dancers for my son's 1st birthday luau. They were knowledgeable not only in dance but also in culture and language of the Polynesia area. Tha Kalama Polynesian dancers are beautiful, authentic, entertaining and beyond compare. We've had them perform shows for us at least four times and they are absolutely riveting. Our group of adults and kids have always been thoroughly entertained and I can not recommend them more highly. We've been to luaus, Hieva's and restaurant shows all over and their show is at the top. We just had Kalama Polynesian Dancers perform at my 50th birthday party this past Saturday and they were a hit! Everyone keeps raving about how great they were. Their professionalism, generosity, creativity and humor made them a pure joy to watch. The fire poi dance was amazing. They stayed after their performance and tons of pictures with the guests and even made me a beautiful fresh flower lei to wear. I would highly recommend them for your next party! We hired Kalama Polynesian Dancers for my daughter's joint 6th and 8th birthday party. Â Wow---was I impressed!! Â They completely captivated 13 kids ages 4-8 and I may have enjoyed watching the kids expressions enjoying the dancers almost as much as the dancers themselves. Â Truly, the performers embodied the aloha spirit and took us all on a journey through different regions with their movements and story telling. Â All we could think at the end is, 'When can we have them at another event again?!' Â Wonderful entertainment, on-time arrival and they even sent an extra dancer our way. I hired this company for my husband's 40th Hawaiian themed birthday party. From the beginning they were very professional and thorough, they allow you to create your own package and send examples of what the dancing looks like. For someone who is totally uncoordinated when it comes to dancing, Â Glenda and her staff really works with you to develop a great learning experience. Â They offer different levels and styles of Polynesian dancing that I was able to learn from in my inexperienced level. Â My other friends who are more advanced than me would agree that this dance program here is the real deal. Â Glenda and her team compete all over the U.S. and have won competitions against the renowned Disney Polynesian dancers! Â The down-to-earth Earth staff really are welcoming, Â I'd recommend this place for parents looking for great activities for their children and even for patents themselves!
