I am a DJ who has been working in the events industry for over a decade. I had the absolute pleasure of working with Kaitlin at a recent event. This 200 person party took place between two different floors at the venue - and there was a street fair taking place outside which made for some tricky load-in / load out logistics. And she was working the event without the help of an assistant! I mention these details only to illustrate how calm, cool, and collected she was amidst all the goings-on. She created a hip, stylish party for the couple that flowed organically and felt connected the whole time - despite taking place on the two levels. But beyond that, she was kind to every one she encountered - including all of the vendors. That's huge. It's one thing to put on a smiling face for the client but Kaitlin was genuine - and that authenticity can't be faked. This ability to be the serene center, combined with her attention to detail (as well as executing the creative vision of the couple) led to an event that felt effortlessly elegant and ultimately led to an amazing dance party! Kaitlin was a dream to work with. I had previously worked with her when she donated her time to help with a Dress for Success event. When I got engaged, I reached out to her to help me with the planning. I already had a lot of connections and knew what I wanted so Kaitlin was able to jump in and coordinate everything and make great recommendations. She made sure I had peace of mind knowing all contracts were reviewed, all coordination was done and the room was perfectly set up. We could not have asked for a better wedding planner! Kaitlin helped us though our wedding up at Camp Hale this year, and she really helped make the experience a good one. We had such a great experience from the start of the process; she kept us on track with planning and vendors without being pushy. She really took the time to understand what was important to my wife and I, and always had our best interests (and budget) at heart. Kaitlin was beyond amazing. It was so helpful to have her by our side for advice and support through every step of the planning process! She provided excellent recommendations and answered my thousands of questions without hesitation and always with a smile! She truly cared about each small detail and most importantly, about our experience as a couple. Kaitlin helped us find quotes for various vendors and attended meetings with us, which reduced a lot of stress. She was always supportive of our vision and did whatever was needed to make it come to life. She always responded extremely fast, even to the longest or most detailed emails! Kaitlin completely organized and ran our rehearsal dinner which was another stress relief! The way she developed and communicated the wedding day timeline to all our vendors made our day completely stress free and so special. Kaitlin was great to work with from the start. Easy going and gets things done! I was engaged for four months and had to plan the whole wedding in that timeframe. Kaitlin was incredibly helpful in keeping me on track with the planning process and making sure I paid attention to the little details. Details that otherwise would have been last minute or forgotten! She helped the month and the months leading up to the wedding. She also helped me with finding creative ways to stay in budget (which was HUGE) as I tried to stay around 12k. The best decision I made during my wedding planning was to hire a planner. Kaitlin was absolutely amazing from day one. She was primarily my month of coordinator, but she never hesitated to help the months leading up when I had questions or needed recommendations. She is so knowledgeable when it comes to which vendors to use, planning out the timeline, coordinating with vendors, all the way down to the little details. My day would not have been as successful as it was without her help. I didn't want to worry about anything on my wedding day, and with Kaitlin's help I truly didn't have to worry about a thing. She knew exactly what I envisioned and helped bring it to life. Kaitlin has the kindest heart and makes her brides feel at ease. I'm an introverted creative type and true to me I took on A LOT in planning and making things for our wedding. I would never think to book a wedding coordinator because I'm a doer - I can do it all myself! It was recommended to me by several people to actually pay someone to run at least the day so that I could enjoy the time with friends and family (AKA the reason you do a wedding, well besides making my attachment to the coolest/funniest/handsomest/most patient/etc dude around legal). I googled 'wedding coordinator Fort Collins' and the first name I remember seeing was Kaitlin Shea Weddings. Serendipity made the call for me on the best decision that was made about our wedding.Kaitlin is calm. She is organized. She is flexible and adaptable. She coordinates with ease. She is nonjudgmental. I didn't interact with many in the wedding industry so maybe this comment comes from stereotypes in my head and not reality, but Kaitlin is the opposite of what I think people in this industry tend to be. She never questioned any of our choices in making our pieced together wedding. She just executed. She simply slayed the day, and the next day (we thought we were making it simpler by having a "small" family ceremony and a party next day for friends. Turns out this just makes double the work. Hiring Kaitlin was one of the best decisions I made for my daughter’s wedding! My daughter lives out-of-state, so much of the planning was left to me. I had so many questions and it was great to have Kaitlin as a resource. She is prompt to reply and excellent at communicating. I received numerous compliments from our other wedding vendors saying how much they enjoyed working with Kaitlin and having her part of the team. Kaitlin is phenomenal. I honestly could write a book about how much we adore her! Kaitlin was amazing! It was so great having an expert to turn to throughout the planning process for advice on all sorts of things, anywhere from decor to the flow of the evening. She helped me find quotes for vendors and went to meetings with me, which relieved a lot of time and stress, knowing I had someone on my team. She was always available for my never-ending questions and responded super quickly! She also planned out the timeline for the whole day and contacted all the vendors to make sure everyone was on the same page and everything went smoothly. She was there all day on the wedding day to meet up with everyone and help make sure things were in order and just how I envisioned it. It was also so nice having someone who knew what they were doing run though the rehearsal with us. Kaitlin is truly amazing! I recently worked with her at a Styled Shoot with alpacas and a wedding at Stonebrook Manor a few weeks later! She is detailed and organized!
