These guys are Magicians! Hard drive on my 4 year old laptop completely failed. Having thought I would lose everything, was recommended to visit them. The guys kept the laptop a week and managed to recover many of my "life's" files. A newer hard drive was fitted along with a full and easy to understand explanation on why you should always back up your laptop! You are continually kept updated with progress. Fantastic service fixing my laptop with damaged hinges and lid. The laptop was old and they were able to source parts from abroad, and whilst that delivery took a while, I was kept well informed of progress with online tracking codes. Once the parts arrived, the laptop was fixed to a very good standard, within the day, and opens and closes better than before now. There was a clear advance quote and that price didn't change. Customer service the likes of which you will not see anywhere. I cannot recommend this company enough. I had a repeat fault on my ASUS which had been repaired twice before by another York company but had broken for a third time. K&A not only repaired it on the same day but showed that there had been damage to the laptop from previous repairs.
