I took my 14 month Labrador to Caroline and Adrian on a recommendation from a friend, and although it is over an hours drive for me, it is well worth it. Buddy is my first dog and the major issue I had been having as a new dog owner was the overwhelming difference of opinion on different training methods. I had tried all sorts to no avail, but also my wife had been poorly during the puppy stage, so structured socialisation etc had not quite been carried out as much as I had hoped.Within 2 weeks the improvements were astonishing. Buddy is a very loving dog with no aggression issues, but he was getting completely out of control on walks, pulling and wanting to play with everything that moved, barking and lunging at dogs, cats, birds, jumping up at anyone that gave him so much as a second look, and everything in between. This was making life very difficult, and quite frankly embarrassing. And the problem was only worsening as he was becoming increasingly more difficult to deal with.I had 2 private lessons, the first taught me how to get Buddies focus on me, and learning some manners, and on the second lesson, half way through, we entered the class which was running at the same time, and within minutes Buddy was walking to heel in a room full of other dogs, something which at the time seemed unthinkable. The next week we went straight into the class with no problems at all. Caroline's knowledge is incredible, but also it is her ability to transfer that knowledge which really gets such amazing results for dogs and their owners. She gave me the confidence to take Buddy out knowing that I was in control and that he was beginning to focus more on me, and almost overnight he has stopped barking at other dogs and cats on walks, he doesn't pull, and is always looking to me to see what is happening next.Buddy is still very excitable, he is a Labrador from strong working lines, but Caroline has already shown me so much, and Buddies drive and abilities will be utilised in a structured manner, and he will be even happier for that. I have a long way to go, but my journey will definitely be spent with Caroline and Adrian. Leanne has also been very kind and helpful as she taught me the building blocks for getting more focus and attention from Buddy. My daughter Sarah has become disabled in the last 12 months and was no longer able to walk her young dogs. One afternoons training today with Caroline with Sarah on her scooter and Sarah’s dogs are different dogs. Totally in awe of the difference Caroline has made in one afternoon. All I can say is, I cannot recommend & thank Caroline & Adrian highly enough, they have enabled me to have a beautiful fun dog that is now a pleasure to own & walk. After many attempts (over 9mths)to find a dog trainer that was experienced & prepared enough to work with both me(an experienced but very frustrated dog owner) and Cal my 11mth old, wilful, disobedient, trying to be dominant Border collie, whose recall was totally no existent to the extent when he was called or asked to sit, he would run in the opposite direction.I was so disappointed to have a dog that was going to be restricted to lead exercise for life, that we would never be able to take on holiday with us due to his unreliability. Adrian & Caroline were recommended by a friend, the best suggestion I have had. We started with a private lesson, in which I was shown that we were lacking a lot of the basic foundations to training & for recall. Following this we have regularly attended the group lessons. Last week after 5 short weeks, we have moved out of the ‘puppy’ classes and onto the advanced class.I have so much more confidence in my dog, sit/lie/stay and with recall, with and without other dogs/distractions around. We have been going to training at K92000 for a year now. Our working springer spaniel is 16 months old, and has been hard work to train! Caroline and Adrian recognised early on that despite my commitment and best efforts I was struggling. Bea spent 6 weeks living with them in kennels undergoing intensive training, with us meeting up for the weekly Saturday morning sessions so that I could keep up my training. The residential experience was just what was needed for Bea and me. My puppy Arthur is a different dog since Caroline had a one to one with him..... She's absolutely fantastic. I would recommend her and Adrian every time. .... Amazing..... We couldn't do anything with him he was biting at every opportunity... He was really out of control... We were going to get rid of him...he made me so ill.... We couldn't walk about the house with out him trying to bite.... Life was horrible .. Caroline gave us a one to one..... The experience was brilliant.... We took our 10 month old Labrador to k9, and the results were instant. She had problems with pulling on the lead, recall and pulling hard to see other dogs, after the 1st lesson there was improvement and after 5 a huge difference, I thought we had swapped for a different dog. On the latest lesson she retrieved a ball off the lead with 6 or 7 other dogs sat by the side of her and brought it back. I didn't think it would happen but it did and I was shocked and incredibly pleased. I was certain she would go to the other dogs but with Caroline and Adrian's training she didn't. Caroline and Adrian are excellent! Very easy to get on with, and make you feel very comfortable and confident in yourself, they know exactly what to do. I can't fault it! If anyone has any problems with their dog look no further than k92000. Also very reasonable prices compared to others. Considering the quality of the training it's a bargain! More...

I brought my golden retriever Rey to Caroline and Adrian after seeing a staffy on our morning walk who was so well behaved at the age of 8 months I couldn’t believe it! His owner told me he trained him here so I brought my 5 month old girl to a lesson to try it out. She had already been to puppy classes in a church hall and was working on her bronze KC award but the training that Caroline and Adrian do here is next level compared to that! My girl was so bored in her bronze award classes as she is a clever pup so needed to be challenged, in the classes at K9:2000 she is kept busy the whole hour long, which is brilliant as you feel like you are really getting somewhere, we put a lot of work in at home so she progressed quickly and Caroline noticed this and she’s now moved to the advanced class! After just 10 sessions my girl can sit stay long enough for me to walk the whole length of the field on our morning walk and recall her with her whistle, she has started to retrieve items which she was never interested in before, she’s got all of her basics down perfectly and the great thing about Caroline and Adrian’s classes is that they always give people variants of the exercises, you start off basic and move up as your dog progresses, like sit, then sit on the move, then sit on the move and stay so you can walk around the dog in front of you... it’s great! I can’t recommend K9:2000 enough, there are dogs of all shapes and sizes here who are doing brilliantly so definitely try a class and I’m sure you will love it! We really cannot recommend Caroline and Adrian highly enough. We brought our 'spirited' golden retriever puppy at 6 months and have seen such a huge improvement in him since coming along. The puppy classes are truly excellent, and the value for money from the course packages is second to none. Our 9 month pup has become a pleasure to walk and train with. Having got the basics down, we are now attending the gun dog classes and having private lessons, both of which are yielding fantastic results; and have turned dog training into a complete pleasure- far exceeding our expectations of what we (or our dog!) could be capable of! After only 3 sessions with my nervous Labrador, she is making excellent progress. Adrian and Caroline run fantastic training classes for all levels from beginners who have never owned a dog. Their vast experience is obvious to see. They have help me with my new GSP puppy who I had thought had behaviour problems but in fact it was me and the family giving him the wrong signals. He has come on leaps and bounds. Although I only recently joined these classes with my bouncy, gobby 3 year old rescue German Shepherd, my big girl has already become more manageable and obedient. My 13 month Old German Shep JURGAN was a nightmare, out of control on the lead, always on his back legs lurching at every dog passing by. My mate recommended Caroline at K92000. Hi I'm just writing to let others know how Caroline helped us, we bought a beautiful German Shepherd and before we realised we were turning him into a proper nightmare. Luckily we were recommended to try Caroline. What a stroke of luck! She was clear and concise (with us) by the end of the lesson we had our dog under control. If you are looking for the BEST DOG TRAINERS, Adrian and Caroline are the people to go to. My family and I rescued our first dog when she was a puppy and searched to find a trainer that used techniques for individual dogs, as ours was nervous around others. We found K9 and were immediately impressed after meeting them.We have since bought a Labrador and they are helping us become a two dog family.
