I recommend K9 Consultants. They have helped us a lot with our dog Maple. They not only taught Maple but also taught us how to work with her. We feel very comfortable boarding Maple there and never have a problem when dropping her off. In fact she seems to enjoy it. I just picked up my puppy (17 months old) from her first stay. She stayed for 12 days. It was her first boarding experience. I loved being able to keep up with her stay on Facebook. She always looked like she was having a lot of fun. She's a handful...very energetic...so it was great to know that she was in experienced hands while I was away. My two medium sized indoor dogs stayed at K9 about a week ago. It has been a few years since I have used a boarding facility because one of my dogs does not do well. Always comes back with diarrhea (I think he just get nervous). They don’t like being left. So, I thought I would give this place a try. The owners could not be more welcoming. We got to tour the facilities in advance. We got to pay online. I kinda knew everything would be okay when we dropped our dogs off. As we were walking away my dogs were barking and crying. Then, Jaime turned to walk back into his house and my two just turned and walked away with him. Never seen that happen. I texted at the end of the first day to see how things were going and I got an immediate response complete with pictures and video clips. When I picked up my dogs they were both fine. No problems. I couldn’t be happier. I will be using K9 again soon. Let me end this review by stating this place is a 30 minute drive from our home. Still worth it for my dogs to be happy and well cared for. Amazing environment! We took our 4 year old pit/lab mix to get some training and the owner was amazing with him! He had him running around feeling comfortable and within a couple of minutes our dog was following commands. We were interested in having him walk with a collar and sit on command and he did. He was so tired by the end of the session that he slept all the way home. We were so impressed with Jaime, the owner and his facility that we will be boarding all our four dogs there when we go out of town. ...i was skeptical at first because my dog was learning the bad habit of "fence fighting" with our neighbors dogs, which lead me to believe she would be agressive and antisocial with any other dogs. ..i took the chance, filled out the application and headed over for our meet and greet; BEST DECISION EVER!!...she's made a complete 180, she's is so much more social with dogs, doesn't have issues with lawnmowers or vacuums and "fence fighting" is down to a miniscule amount (she only addresses the dogs when the dogs bark at me through the fence)...great place for dogs to be boarded but we especially love the daycare service because we work different shifts and sometimes there isn't anyone at home for extended time periods...and the best thing about it is that i'm shopping local... I just can't say enough great things about K-9 Consultants. I took my 7 month old puppy while I was visiting my mom for Christmas. I had not even gotten to the stop sign and they had already sent me several pictures of Jax outside playing with the other dogs. The second time I took him over to have a playday, I told Jax where he was going and as soon as we drove up, he got all excited to go play. I wouldn't hesitate to let my dog stay there any time. Paddy & Babie spent 16 days for their 1st boarding experience. We were nervous about Babie socializing with the other pups. Jaime & Mimi assured us that they would be okay. They sent us videos to reassure us of their adjustment and playfulness with the other dogs. Both dogs were happy & healthy when we returned. My two boys, Quigley and Mulligan, have never been boarded before so I was a little worried-- my fears were quickly set to rest by the professionalism of Jaime and Mimi and by the attention lavished on my dogs by both! I suspect Mulligan would have happily stayed with Mimi if I had let him! It was nice being able to look at photos and videos and being able to see how comfortable the boys were every day-- seeing my stand-offish Mr. Quigley in MiMi's lap told me a lot about what kind of people they are!! They also dealt with medical care as required in a professional manner. I also like the fact that Jaime works on the dog's behavioral faults while they are in his care-- now if I could just get him to come to my house to correct their faults here!!We will definitely come here again!! Had my 8 yr old Blue Heeler Smitty, and my parents 2 yr old Standard Poodle Rufus stay at K9 Consultants while away for the holidays and loved our first experience with them! We've never boarded our dogs before so we were a bit nervous about how they would behave while we were gone. We loved the picture updates, and emails detailing how they were doing. I had my Boxer, Brittany stay at K9 while we were on vacation.
If you want excellent care for your dog, this is the place for them to stay. My dog was taken care of so well we had to coax her into our truck.
Please take your pet to K9, if you want them to have the special love that K9 gives to the fur babies.

I Recommend to everyone I know! K9 consultants is the absolute best! We have a stubborn, bossy dachshund, Mushu, who we board with them quite frequently. Duncan went in to meet Jaime and he became visibly less stressed about a minute into our visit. He never gets the opportunity to socialize or run about safely with other furry friends. We are excited and feel confident in having him stay at K9 consultants. Jaime took time to explain some of the reasons Duncan behaved a certain way and offered some suggestions on training him. We are excited and know Duncan will be about finding a home away from home. All of the pups staying there were not aggressive and were very friendly to me, a stranger. I feel so grateful for everything Mr. Benitez shared with me to better train my baby Nova. I was amazed with all the knowledge he has and was able to share. The facility is clean and beautiful. I took our Husky/Lab mix to K-9 Consultants for 15 days of boarding, socialization, and training. I saw Simon have a blast with the other dogs on Facebook daily, and Jaime Benitez is a knowledgeable, patient trainer. Simon absolutely LOVED being there (he had his vacation, too), and he came back to me as a calmer, more well-behaved dog! We left out dog Courage with k9 consultants for 8 days and we see such a difference in him already!!! I felt reassured seeing all the videos and pictures that get posted daily of him playing with other dogs. This is a wonderful place! Little dogs are separated from the bigger dogs, who have their own play yard. Jaime & Mimi have them all socializing in their own group. They learn to respond to his instructions. Paddy & Babie,our little pomchies, really liked Jamie & Mimi. They are kind, gentle,and very professional with the dogs. We knew our pups were safe and happy while we were gone via the photos/ video that Jamie posted. This is truly a home away from home for our pets!
