We had the pleasure of working with Nerijus for our wedding in Enniscorthy. He was very professional, friendly, and had great vision for beautiful backdrops and unique pictures. He also took great candid shots of friends and family (that they now want to use for the Christmas cards!). Nerijus complimented our videographer; coordinating ideas and making smooth transitions between shots. He kept us laughing and made the photos fun while capturing both the beauty of the venue and us. Nerijus did an excellent job capturing us in such a glamorous way. This is truly a talent as it is a rarity for us to pull off looking fancy without looking like dorks. He really stepped up in directing some of the guests and wedding party as the assigned coordination piece fell a bit to the wayside. This he did out of his own kindness and really did organize some chaos, which was not his role, but so appreciated. We love our photos! My only recommendation would be to include a few more candid photos, as well as some that were more “fun” and less serious or romantic. I'm not exactly sure how to start this review. We absolutely love our photos, they couldn't have been any more perfect. The quality is out standing. However, our wedding day is a little bit of a different story. We felt very rushed, and like it was "just a job". It felt as though he just wanted to get the day over with. I had made a couple suggestions that I was hoping for, for photos, ( I understand I'm not the professional), but instead of explaining it to me why it couldn't work or suggesting how to make it better, Nerijus seemed to just completely ignore it. I could not have asked for a better photographer to capture our wedding day. From the moment he got there to the moment he left, Nerijus made use of the time he had in order to get all the shots he possibly could and was professional and friendly the whole time. While we knew his work was beautiful, when we received our photos we could not have been any happier. Somehow, Nerijus was able to take two people who are very awkward in front of a camera and give us so many lovely photos that we will cherish forever. I am so happy that we chose to work with Karmilcovas Photography! Nerijus was very kind, patient, and thoughtful. You can tell he really cares about his art and his results. He was both out of the way and ready when we needed him. Nerijus absolutely has a talent for direction and helping to make people that are not comfortable being photographed, very comfortable and at ease. He is able to tell you where to go and how to pose all while seeming relaxed and supportive. He captured such beautiful moments of our ceremony and our guests. It was such a pleasure working with Karmilcovas photography. My husband and I were worried we would be uncomfortable getting our photos taken but Nerijus made it so easy and enjoyable, we wanted to keep taking pictures! Peach Perfect chose the best possible photographer for our special day. He was so warm, welcoming and engaging with our guests, who have all mentioned how amazing he was. The turnaround for receiving our photos was extremely quick and we were so appreciative of that. We were drying to see our photos the second we got home from our honeymoon and only had to wait a few weeks to receive them. Viewing/downloading and purchasing our photos is the easiest experience we have had with a photographer. Our photos turned out spectacular and took our breath away when we first saw them. Nerijus is amazing. I'm not comfortable in front of a camera but he was great with making me feel comfortable and posing us in ways that looked natural and not just posed. The day of the wedding it rained all day and I was worried we wouldn't be able to get any shots outside but every time he noticed the rain slow to a drizzle he took us out side and got some amazing shots. We were so happy when we got the photos back, there were so many and all of them are amazing. I couldn't be happier with the experience and our photos. After seeing his work online, we knew we wanted Nerijus for our engagement pics because we loved his blending of portraits and landscape photography. Nerijus was easy to communicate with via email, even on a different continent, and was quick to adapt when needed. His lightness and humor made us, 2 camera shy people, feel comfortable enough to take beautiful photos. He knew all of the most stunning locations to shoot in Killarney and he spent a full two hours with us and we never felt rushed or like he was trying to speed through things. He had lots of poses to suggest and let us take some that we wanted too. He was so pleasant to work with every step of the way. He even returned our photos quicker than expected, a great treat.
