It's always so difficult to find a good cajun place when you live in the desert, especially when you don't have a ton of money to settle for Papadeaux's. When I heard about this place, I was hesitant but hopeful. I was so glad I gave them a try! It's close to home, tastes awesome, the workers are friendly and helpful, and the prices are fair based on how expensive it can be to get seafood in a landlocked state. Wonderful service but very small seating area. The gumbo is wonderful with a nice buttery roux. K'Lynn's would be a success in Louisiana which is not something you find often New Mexico restaurants that serve cajun food.

I can say with 100% accuracy that K'Lynn's is your best option anywhere near Albuquerque when it comes to hardy and full-flavored Cajun cuisine. Enjoyed the jerked chicken with fried okra, red beans and rice with andouille sausage. Shrimp po boy is very good. I have found my comfort food! The flavors are spot on. Perfect breading on the fish, gator and shrimps. Oddly the coleslaw hit just the perfect spot. Love this place! I’ve been in a twice to date and every time it is amazing! Jerk chicken tacos are to die for!! Mac and cheese is amazing as well!
My only complaint is that I wish the hours were longer :( would be a lovely dinner spot!

Loved the food. It’s just a little diner with not much ambience but the service was good and the food was excellent. Never had better fried okra. The jerked chicken was very flavorful. The red beans and rice with the andouille sausage made my mouth very happy. My husband had the catfish which was perfectly fried, and the coleslaw which was fresh and flavorful.
