Five big stars for this place! I wasn't sure why they combined painting and karaoke, but it soon became apparent that it was a great melange of activities. You paint, and then it needs time to dry, so what better activity than singing songs with your friends? The staff was very warm and helpful, and for the price Plan your next night out here. You will not regret it! More...
A blast! I live in the area and pass by K. Karaoke and Paint regularly and was intrigued, so finally looked it up. I decided to host my birthday party here, because I like activities. The combo of painting, karaoke, and drinking was a match made in birthday heaven. The price to rent the place for a private party for 15-30 people was very reasonable and the fact that it is BYOB makes it WAY less expensive than a bar for a couple hours for your friends AND way more fun. They were accommodating from the first phone call to the last song. They had any song we wanted and even allowed us to extend our party for an additional hour since we were having such a good time. I would recommend K. Karaoke to anyone looking for a more fun party experience than just going out for dinner and drinks. I know my friends and I loved it. More...
Bought a Groupon, wasn't sure what to think of it but needed to use it so we got in on the expiration date. I had timely responses from owners as I was scheduling, via email and phone calls. This place is in Albany Park, at Kedzie and Lawrence. It's in a little store front covered in posters and signs that read it's name, next to the Brazilian joint. We walked in at 7 and picked our seats. We were waiting for all guests to arrive. There were buckets of complimentary ice and bottle openers. Several long tables with chairs with a canvas and palette at each spot, along with the brushes and a water cup. The girls were keeping us informed, by microphone, of the schedule and soon we got started. A brief instruction prior to each section of your painting to help you out, and you're off! Good music created fun vibes, some folks were singing along while creating their masterpieces. At break time (drying time), we got karaoke! Ahhhh, that's where it comes in! The words are projected on the wall, there's a little "stage" area, and the song choices were pretty fun! All genres. Even the boys got up there! We spent over two hours creating our piece, singing (from my seat) and chair-dancing all while sipping and laughing with friends old and new. What a great concept! Whoda thunk!?Good job girls More...
Super fun! The Karaoke was hilarious. They do turn down the lights when it's Karaoke time but it's fine, nothing crazy, actually enhances the fun because people can't see me make a fool of myself on stage
I went with my girlfriends for a girls night out and it was amazing. We had so much fun.
