Started out with dog training but Gus has become a great friend. His training is for the life of the dog which I don't think u will find anywhere else. I go to a group class every week which helps my dog get used to being around other dogs. U can call Gus anytime & he is always willing to help. He will also kennel the dog when u go on vacation which is a great benefit for me since the dog is already used to seeing Gus each week so it's a familiar place. I recommend K9 Communications highly. He will spend the time to train both u and your dog! More...

Exceptional TrainerGus Marnel of K9 Communications is an amazing dog and people trainer. We found K9 Communications after several failed attempts with other trainers. Approximately 9 months after getting our first German Shepherd we realized we had no idea how to provide the leadership and structure he required. Our dog is very smart and powerful and it quickly became evident he was not interested in following our lead. Eventually, we found Gus at K9 communications in Milford, CT. Although the training was structured differently then others, we are happy we investment the time in Gus' program. When you work with Gus you get access to training for the life of your dog. Once Gus trained our dog and then trained us, we were off to a new beginning. Gus did an exceptional job not only training our dog but providing us with the guidance and support so that we could provide our dog with the leadership and structure he needs to be a happy, well behaved dog.
