Lori was absolutely wonderful with our puppy, Harley. He was a little over 3 months when we started and he successfully graduated at 5 months. To be as young as he was to start he really listened to Lori and we all learned a lot about being good puppy parents. You can tell how much she cares about the dogs by the care she gives them. My puppy, Nugget, was very shy and anxious when I adopted her, and extremely weary of men. The rescue group she came from recommended Lori for training, since she helped other dogs they've fostered to deal with their shyness via basic obedience. The (very affordable) private lessons made a huge difference for both Nugget and myself. Lori is patient and helps you work with your and your dogs' strengths. We practice on our walks, playing in the yard, and even when we're out and about at unfamiliar territories. Nugget is calm, happy, and pays attention. I am a lot better with Nugget and she listens. When we first started she was on edge whenever we left the house and would not let me leave her sight. She is a lot calmer with me and around strangers. We are a much better duo after 8 weeks of training, and I just signed us up for more classes in 2016. More...

Lori is absolutely AMAZING!!! We are almost finished with our training, and have TWO German Shepherds that we train with Lori every week and let me say that they are two completely different dogs than they were the first day that we started! Lori has so much skill, knowledge, patience, & LOVE for these dogs , as she does all of her students I'm sure, I knew that I had chosen the right trainer the first time I spoke with her! I have told everyone I know that are in search of a trainer about Lori, and I will never go to anyone else ever!! Lori has been wonderful to work with!! Our dog, Roger is a sweet, smart, spaniel/setter mix (we think) who was literally pulling me around our neighborhood for our walks. He needs lots of exercise, both physically & mentally & Lori has made that so much fun for us! We can now walk around the neighborhood comfortably thanks to Lori! Folks in the neighborhood have even told me they thought for a moment I had a different dog. Not only have our walks become so much more enjoyable, he has learned so much more & so have we! I can't say enough good things about Lori and her training. We brought our 1 year old yorkie (Coco) to Lori. Coco has been a handful to say the least. She's a major diva and very stubborn like most yorkies. Lori was able to connect with Coco and made training fun and easy. Yes you have to work at home with your dog but it makes for a wonderful bonding experience. Lori worked with my 11 year old daughter on how to train Coco. My husband and I took our young doberman to Lori's training class and had very positive results with him. She was able to help me earn the respect of our dog and now he listens to me very well and is much better behaved. I am not even sure where to begin! Lori is an amazing trainer, who is so compassionate and has such a big heart for all dogs. I love that she offers such individualized training for what your dog and you need at that specific time and for Lori no question was off limits which we loved. Lori is the only trainer that I could bring myself to trust with my dog and my son (the dog's handler) and to spend hard earned money on. She is firm, but patient. She has a special gift for understanding dogs and for assisting dog guardians in better understanding their furry companion.
