I bring my dog here regularly to get groomed. The work done is fantastic and the staff is a delight to interact with and very customer oriented. My dog is large and I did not find very many groomers in North West London who are good with larger breeds. Have taken my dog to a few groomers before I finally found this place. Ralph is brilliant at cutting my Pomeranian and really improved the quality of his coat that another groomer ruined (we’ve moved so used someone closer for a while)The owners and employees at JB really love the dogs in their care, they also groom your dog to your specification. Thanks so much!

Absolutely love the service at Just Barking. Outstanding customer service and excellent quality groomers! After calling 15 other groomers and not being able to get an appointment, I called Just Barking but had no hope of getting an appointment. At first the receptionist informed me they only had appointments in a week's time and was very apologetic about it. When I explained to her that my puppy was really unwell due to the heatwave and I was concerned about her health and she really needed a trim and I had called several places but it was impossible to find an appointment she really listened to me and asked to call me back right away with a solution.She did call me 5 minutes later with a next day appointment for a full trim which is exactly what I wanted! They were the first groomers to actually listen and show they care about customers. I know they were fully booked and very busy but they cared enough and went the extra mile to fit my puppy in and help us out.I really wanted my puppy's fur to be trimmed using scissors and not clippers and they did exactly what I asked! While everywhere else they said shih-tzu's could not have their coat trimmed using scissors. When I went to collect her she was happy, wagging her tail and looking gorgeous and smelling even better!!I could not recommend this place enough! I know that it's hard to trust someone to look after your dog but my mind is at ease with the groomers in this place! More...

another local secret - that is becoming quite the thing.  their dog collars and leather goods are amazing.  the most fantastic leathers.  everywhere i go with my beasts ... i think we are asked where the leads and collars are from.  world class dog groomers - they write books and win international competitions ...  also can help sort out animal care with local experienced people.all sorts of dog foods, unusual toys, treats, and trinkets to spoil your pets - with helpful staff always ready with specific suggestions. well worth the detour  up to KR (that's kensal rise for the non-locals!) Previous review was made after a bad experience. Subsequent update to this is as follows. Christian, the owner has contacted me. This was a very different exchange. I can now see why the majority have had excellent service here. Christian is clearly very passionate about his business and our four legged friends. I am sure this was an unfortunate one off. We were very pleased with the service at this lovely grooming salon. This was our first visit and we were quite nervous for our schnoodle to get her first cut, but found them very patient and helpful with tips on how to maintain her coat until our next visit. Montgomery recently had his first professional groom (he's nine months old) at Just Barking and they did a great job. He's a Standard Schnauzer and it took six hours (over two days, as he was hand stripped) and the attention to detail was second to none. I have no hesitation in recommending Just Barking, and Montgomery will be back again for his next groom soon! I just wish I could keep him looking as good as he did when he left the salon! More...

I have a Cavalier King Charles - Poodle mix - curly hair, prone to the occasional matting and after some misplaced exuberance with some ducks, went into the Grand Canal and did NOT smell good. We are living here for a few months and I was not looking forward to finding a new groomer. Upon the recommendation of some friends, I gave Just Barking a try. I was impressed that during the drop off, they took careful notes on what I was looking for and it showed:  this is easily one of the best hair cuts my dog has ever had. They took their time and the attention to detail and careful trimming around his face looked great; his ear canals were clean and free of hair, his nails were the right length and the overall cut was even and very precise. The shampoo/conditioner didn't smell overly perfumed and his hair was very soft. I found them to be friendly and very professional. We will definitely be going back for a hair cut before we return to the US in the fall. More...
