I nearly left a seething review, because during the day on Saturday I twice asked reception to send up a bottle of wine, and twice they agreed to. I had a friend visiting, and was having a nose bleed, and therefore had to go down to the bar to get served -all disheveled.. The stay overall was good. Rooms comfortable and clean and we really enjoyed the breakfast. The service overall was good also, with staff being helpful and polite. What was unexpected and disappointing was finding out that my room was ready but being asked to pay £20 to access it before 2pm. My friends and I had travelled down from London to attend a meal and the fact that a room we had paid for was sitting empty unless we paid even more was surprising and not particularly customer focused. Best part about it? Reasonably priced (for Brighton) parking in the station carpark opposite. Have stayed at other hotels in the town only to find their 'parking' is on street pay and display if you can find a space. ||The hotel is lovely too. We had an accessible room which was very clean, spacious and quiet. Although we did have an adjoining room door - something we do not like - but our neighbours were considerate, as were we. Bathroom was very spacious and clean, although the toilet took ages to fill after flushing, and there was difficulty in flushing - not good - we did report it. my preference goes to woolen blankets instead of duvets because I sweated all night. It should be given the possibility to choose about the bed cover, (blanket or duvet), with the finality to match with client expectation.

we did have an issue with our pre-paid evening meals as there were parties on both the nights so Jury's Oddsocks were only offering a limited menu, however after raising our dissatisfaction with the staff we were really looked after on the two nights, we were able to choose from the main menu and we had a secluded table, in the party but not in the party - the staff were excellent and we would definitely stay here on our next visit to Brighton - Nice work guys and a big thank you

This was my second stay in a Jury's Inn hotel. The first, while perfectly acceptable, was marred by two things. ||||Firstly, the volume of the TV was set to an incredibly low level, making viewing almost impossible unless one has perfect hearing. I am glad to report that my stay in Brighton was not so affected.||||Secondly, the room was very poorly lit because the wattage of the LED bulbs was extremely low. Sadly, the Brighton hotel was no better. A 4w bulb gives out a poor light, particularly when there is a shade on it. I like to read in bed and it was impossible with any degree of comfort. To solve the problem I bought two higher wattage ES fitting bulbs from a supermarket and used those instead, removing them before I left. I am well aware of the need to save electricity but this is taking it too far.||||As for booking the room, I selected the hotel on a booking site but as I always do these days I then went to the hotel's own web site. I signed up and made a worthwhile saving.||||The internet was free, fast and unrestricted - about 80mbps for downloads and 50-odd for uploads,||||I did not use the hotel bar or eat there. More...

We booked the hotel at the last minute about 11:30 at night for a spare of the moment night out I can honestly say I've never been so wear where every member of staff are so freindly the manager was fantastic as one of my friends was abit drunk and panicky when she forgot her room number the manager (I wish I could remember her name) was brilliant coulsnd tdo enough for her to make her feel comfortable after I let her know what room she was in the manager bought my friend up to me so I could look after her then to our suprise she offered us breakfast on the house. Very good choice if you are in a business trip around. Comfortable rooms, good wifi, Rich breakfast menu. They had soy and almond milk for the breakfast which is important for a vegan. The restaurant and bar itself has a good and lively atmosphere in the evenings. All staff were very helpful. Special thanks to Anett for the effort on helping my vegan food request for the next day. Lovely place to stay staff very helpful has all you need! We arrived too early to check in but the helpful reception staff kept our bags securely and gave us the room that we had requested. ||||The cleaning staff were very helpful too. We did not have breakfast in the hotel so cannot review that. But our room was very quiet and comfortable. I did not see an extraction fan in the bathroom or loo brush but apart from that all very good! I stayed here on business and we have a corporate rate so it was a good rate for B&B. Breakfast was very good and there is so much choice you cannot possibly complain. It was hot and the breakfast area was clean. The rooms are spotless and a iron and board and a hairdryer in, there are also toiletries provided should you require them. Tea and coffee facilities in the room. The hotel is situated 5 mins walk from the train station and there is a 2 storey car park facing the entrance with plenty of parking, I believe it is quite expensive to park but I assume you can get a discount if you are staying at the hotel.||||Bar area very nice and modern with lots of couches to sit and relax on, they could do with more staff in the bar and restaurant.
