Q&As

I love dogs and I want to see them all fulfil their real potential. Understanding why your dog does certain things is not easy but once you do everything drops into place. I teach owners how to teach their dogs. If your dog pulls on a lead, barks too much, is reactive to other dogs, is aggressive to people or dogs, doesn't come to you when called or is nervous or fearful please talk to me to see if I can help. I prepare detailed Behaviour Modification Plans and help you make the changes needed to make your relationship with your dog the best it can be.

I have always had dogs, mostly Labradors, in my life but rescuing a Rottweiler who had lived his entire three and a half years in a high rise flat was a complete eye-opener for me. I wanted to help him adjust to a normal life but he was pretty much scared of everything. I watched him learn from my Labs and it was fascinating to see how he adapted! I started reading as much as I could find on dog behaviour in order to help him even more and this eventually led me towards studying for a Diploma with the International School of Canine Psycholgy and Behaviour. Now I work with dogs as a living which is a dream job for me! The Rottie is still with us and is now a much loved, happy and contented member of my family.

I am told I have a wonderful calming influence on stressed owners and dogs alike. It can be very frustrating not knowing what to do for the best especially when it is clear your dog is distressed. I understand that walks can become stressful, going out creates anxiety, toileting accidents or chewing destroys furniture and I will do my very best to help you change this behaviour for the better.
