I have had counselling with June quite a lot. My first visit I felt sick and nervous. June has a way of calming you down and putting you at ease - so much so I feel like she is a friend i could have a cup of tea with! Would definitely recommend.

June is very patient and understanding. Was nervous going for the first time but was instantly made to feel at ease and I will continue till I feel I no longer need the counseling.

Q&A

I am fascinated by people. I tell my clients that he/she is the most fascinating person they'll ever meet. Therapy provides an opportunity to be curious about how we think and feel and behave. I enjoy helping clients to improve their physical and emotional symptoms by offering effective strategies.

I was working for MIND in a community project, whilst training as a counsellor. We didn't offer counselling within the service however I was invited to run a clinic in a local health centre. And so June Morton Counselling came to be. I'm inspired by the people I've helped on the road to good health.

I'm a qualified professional Counsellor with 17yrs experience. Most of my work comes from word of mouth referrals.
My counselling style is friendly, conversatiònal and narrative. I offer strategies to cope with whatever the client is experiencing, e.g. with anxiety, I look at both the physical and emotional impact. I work holistically, with the whole client, rather than focusing on the problem.
