Disappointed Mother
We were not afforded an experienced photographer as listed on the website. We did two beach photos, a morning and a sunset, and as such paid two fees. We did not receive two full orders of photos. The photos are really non-usable. Our chins and expressions were not corrected at the time and there were so many odd poses. The sunset photos are cruise ship quality and don't appear to be a real sunset. I have never been disappointed with photography services until now. More...

We apologize for you not being happy with your photos. We always go out of our way to pose and direct into flattering positions with the best island backgrounds. We enjoyed meeting you all and did not realize we would be editing chins or replacing backgrounds as there wasent much of a sunset that evening. This is our first bad review and we take it very seriously. We will only work harder to ensure clients are happy and will work harder to ask re specific photo requests are made prior to us shooting. Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback. We hope you enjoyed our beautiful island.

I really appreciated how easy to work with and supportive they were throughout the process, especially as I don't live on Grand Cayman and was a bit anxious about making sure everything came off without a hitch. We just got married in Cayman last week and Julie was our photographer.... Even before the event, she was awesome to work with via e-mail since we live in the states. Our wedding ceremony goal was quick and inexpensive and she was accommodating about our time and budget! I have had bad luck with photographers in the past and she proved to me what a professional photographer should be! She was energetic and fun and really helpful. We recently visited Grand Cayman and hired Deep Blue to do a family photo shoot. This was hands down the best money we spent. We have 4 young children ages ranging from 13-8 and not only was the experience enjoyable but the results were amazing. Our photographer was outstanding, kind, sincere, and engaging. Needless to say we have already blown up several pictures into photo canvases and will have an incredible Christmas card this year. My experience with Deep Blue Images was nothing short of incredible. I traveled, with inventory samples of my Liveblu clothing line, from the States for my photoshoot with Julie and her team. Our first shoot was very early in the morning and not only am I not a morning person, I was nervous. Irene met me as soon as I pulled into Smith Cove and before I knew it there were two professional photographers and 3 gorgeous models creatively supporting my vision, my dream. Our sunset shoot at Seven Mile Beach was just as amazing and the models, just as beautiful and friendly as the first shoot. I scheduled a photo shoot by phone a few weeks before our arrival in Grand Cayman, and from start to finish Julie exceeded my expectations. My parents had brought me, my family, my sister and her husband, and my mother in law for a week of celebration of 50 years of marriage, and our gift to our parents was this photo shoot. When she arrived at our place on the beach she scouted for locations for a few minutes, had a bit of a chat to get to know us and what we wanted, then she took over! Her instincts about positioning, posing, and locations she chose to use were spot on, and her easygoing manner and gentle, friendly suggestions enabled her to catch the beauty of my family flawlessly. We never felt rushed, she had wonderful ideas we had not even considered, and she took so many "WOW" photos that it has been difficult choosing our favorites. After processing she dropped off 3 disks she had burned for us - with every photo she had taken on each one! (This was jaw-dropping after the Stingray City photographer: 1st pic $20, 2 pics for $30, or all 17 for $50!) I cannot recommend Julie highly enough, incredible results at an excellent price, and a personality so warm we all felt she could have been part of our family after spending just an hour with her.
