Most people see me as a positive character, full of self confidence, and quite successful in most areas of my life. To be honest that is how I am most of the time. However, there are certain issues which I repress most of the time which keep coming back time and again, things from my childhood, upbringing, and other things which I don’t need to elaborate on. These were things that I finally decided I had to deal with once and for all.

I normally deal with things myself and don’t feel I need anyone else but I had fought these issues all my life and they were still coming back so I finally decided to look for help. This was a massive step for me and not one taken lightly. I took the plunge and went to see Julie. I was very nervous, and really unsure that I could open up to anyone. I found her very easy to talk to, and she put me so at ease and comfortable with her that I found myself opening up to her in the first session.

I have to say that from that very first meeting I knew I had found someone who I could trust completely. She was a very good listener, non-judgmental, empathetic, and I came away from that first meeting having full confidence in her.

Having never tried hypnotherapy before I was very sceptical about it all. I needn't have been the whole process was a very pleasant and a relaxing experience. Initially I went for support with weight loss however it became apparent that this was not the underlying issue.Throughout my sessions I began to realise it was more to do with expectations of myself and anxiety. The strategies Julie used with me I was able to use at home and as the weeks went on people began to notice changes I'm my presentation and overall behaviours in a positive way.
