went with my husband for his birthday surprise. we had a surprise as my 2 sisters and partners surprised us my turning up we all had a brill time had a couple if winners. to top it all Craig David he was amazing. everyone singing dancing, the atmosphere was electric everyone looked lovely; we sure no how to impress. We came to watch the Grand National; what a day! The setup is fantastic, it's like a gambling horsey theme park! All the staff I spoke to are very friendly and accommodating, even on what I assume it's the busiest day of the year! There are museum and so great food outlets; admittedly it's street food but it was damn tasty! I can't comment on what this place is like on a normal day, but on National day it's truly epic! I'm not a seasoned horsey man, and know very little about gambling, however I very much did enjoy my time at Aintree for Lady's Day.
The staff are exceedingly friendly and happy.
The food was excellent and the alcohol flowing.
There's plenty to do and everyone is generally in high spirits. I'd definitely recommend attending Aintree if you haven't already, even if you're not a horsey person.

Some bonkers rules however so check your tickets carefully and be prepared for some random G4 Security staff telling you you can't do something and following a bonkers rule. Been here several times over the years. More facilities/ chance to walk inside of Grand National course at the Grand National meeting but meeting more crowded than all others. October meeting is family/ countryside day with several attractions. December meeting features 2 races over the Grand National fences whilst the evening meetings in May and June usually have either live music or a DJ after racing. Grand National meeting takes place in April with one race each day (Foxhunter's 'Chase on Thursday and Topham 'Chase on Friday) over the Grand National fences with the Randox Health Grand National on the Saturday. Good value tickets for non Grand National meetings but tickets can be expensive for the Grand National meeting especially Grand National Day. More...

Went here for the Grand National, was an amazing day, such a great atmosphere and so much to see. We were in the Lord daresbury roof stand which gave great views of the finish line and I also had a few wins on the bets I placed which is always good.
