What makes a great website?
A great website is one that delivers the client's message in an creative, easy to navigate and unique way.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
What is your timeline?
What are your goals?
What is unique about your project?
Who is your competition?
What companies do you admire?
What is your budget?
Describe your creative process.
We first meet with our client to define the scope of the project and learn more about the business and it's goals. This is followed by researching the problem at hand and formulating a plan of attack. We then explore creative options and present those to the client. These options are further refined into a solid direction. We present this direction to client for approval and then begin with the production of the final assets.
What information do you need from a client before you can start work?
The scope of the project and what the goals are. Once these are defined, a number of other question will arise around creative assets.
What do you love most about your job?
Being creative and solving problems for clients across a number of different mediums and industries.
What inspired you to start your own business?
My father was small business owner and I worked with him from a very young age. While I enjoyed working with him, pest control was not in my future. ha! After I left my first design job at The North Face, they called on me to help with projects and that started Juice. I have always loved the challenge of solving problems and learning new things....and owning a business has been a non-stop lesson.
