Judy is amazing! Right from our first meeting and all the way throughout the months leading up to the wedding, she was always there to answer any questions and help guide us in the right direction. We both felt super comfortable around Judy on and off the camera. She's very personable and has a great sense of humour! Both my husband and I don't like having our pictures taken but she made the experience a very positive one. Also, cannot believe how quickly the turnaround time was!! We received our final pictures exactly one month after! We've had so many friends who had to wait months (some even years) to get their pictures. My fiance and I were super nervous to be in front of a camera, we were not sure if we can really be ourselves to have our relationship captured candidly as we would hope. Judy photographed our engagement and wedding photos. She went above and beyond. My husband does not like to be photographed and I only know how to smile for the camera. We both feel super awkward not knowing what to do for photos. Judy guided us completely yet made sure we stayed natural and true to self. Every capture identifies us as individuals and as a duo. Which I was amazed by and adore. As we had a interracial wedding I was unsure how we could blend both traditions. Example: It was Vietnamese tradition that we took photos in front of a backdrop with every group of guests as they enter. It was in Canadian tradition that my first dance was with my father. Judy photographed my wedding August 18th and she was such an amazing person to work with. Judy was always prepared and professional. The day of the wedding Judy took every moment possible to capture the special, candid moments of our day. As a bride, I wasn't concerned with creating a photorapher "to do list" and I am so thankful I let Judy and our other photographer take the reins for the photos for the day. We recently hired Judy to capture a second wedding ceremony for us as well as some family portraits, and she was great! She did a fantastic job getting all the shots we wanted plus some creative ones we wouldn't have thought of. It's clear she has a passion for photography. She's so easy to work with and extremely kind, patient and professional. One thing that stands out is her personal touch which truly shows that she cares about her clients.
