Very glad that I was ordered to do probation through them. All the staff that I had contact with were courteous and professional. Was given a receipt after all monetary transactions. Thier fees were very reasonable compared to other testing facilities. Karena provided me resources that can possibly help better my life that I other wise would not have known about or access to. She also advocated on my behalf to the courts on an unfounded recommendation by a third party. As long as you do what you are supposed to do(test clean,have a plan,do the recommendations, make an effort) then they will do everything they can to make sure that you successfully complete your program. I did everything I needed to do; I had a plan; I tested clean; so instead of a year of probation Karena recommended that I terminate after 6 months. You have to want to better yourself; if you try to game the system your going to have a bad experience. I can see how people are bitter about this place and leave terrible reviews; It's because they are only doing this because they got caught and want to continue in the self destuctive and illegal behaviors that got them ordered to JSS in the first place. If you want to change, they can help. If you don't, then it's going to be long and difficult process resulting in you leaving a very negative and biased review out spite because you didn't do what you were supposed to do, among other things that you receive due to noncompliance. Their services are so inexpensive I don't know how this place makes any money with how many employees they have and the long hours they work. I have never been in trouble until I argued with a close family member that landed me here. I was so scared. Karina and Anna Marie are so amazing, they made me feel like I had a second chance instead of treating me like I am a bad person. Good people make mistakes. I have learned a lot. In fact, due to my financial circumstance at the time I was with JSS was 4 long years which should have been one year. I did everything I was asked to do, it just took some time. I can't thank them enough for everything they did for me. I could go on and on but I don't understand why some people have said bad things. Your bad attitude will get you nowhere! I'm really not a negative person, but I can't imagine the people saying bad things being successful in life! Anyways, this place is a good place when you are trying to fix a mistake in your life. They are good people! I have only spoken with Anna Marie and Karina but I appreciate them both dearly for helping me and leading me the right way. Okay who am I kidding, no one likes being on probation but as long as you keep up with your court requirements and show that you're making it your priority they won't throw you under the bus and they actually care about you. I owe my life to JSS. I completed my treatment there and was treated like family. I didn't lie. I passed my drug tests. I didn't miss any of my treatment. Every one working there influenced my life in a positive way. Even if just a little bit. Even that mean horrible owner Karena LOL She only gets upset when she is being lied to and you aren't putting your all into treatment. Trust me I know having had her upset with me maybe once possibly twice. The reason she gets upset and mad is because she cares. They all do, but they are not able to help us if we aren't willing to help ourselves. There is a special place in my heart for everyone at JSS ( even Mario ) He tried to help, I gave that poor guy crap. More...
