When you go to this karate school, you are part of a family. This is because of the friendly environment trainers create! My daughter has made several good friends here and she is very relaxed when she is at class.

Where to start. I am a martial arts "crazy-o", and I believe I have much understanding on a number of martial arts. My young nephew enrolled with this club some months ago, and he has improved in concentration, fitness and self discipline. I can see that he has grown as a person, he is much more active and even his hobbies have changed. In the past I practiced Karate-Do, Capoeira, and Judo, but my training has not been constant due to my job. Sensei Jon has kindly allowed me to attend more than one trial lesson, and I couldn't have enjoyed it more. I have seen my nephew training and I have enjoyed watching and attending to every lesson. Focused on traditional Karate, with modern approach on possible every day situations, it is just fantastic. One of the things that I really find helpful is the training flexibility and the monthly fees. I am pending some job contracts to finish and then I will defo sign up. There is a small group of adults, being the majority of the students children, and even though there is the odd joke, and it safe for children, Sensei Jonathan takes no bulls**t. It is difficult to find a Sensei with a passion for what he does, serious with what he teaches and fair. I would recommend this club to anyone out there, of any age, who is serious about martial arts training (adults, children and parents). If you are not serious and you are looking for a playground environment, or somewhere to please everyone no matter what... you need to go to a nursery or a circus and martial arts is not for you or your child. My daughter enjoys the Karate classes at Ju Dachi, specially when there is pad work or paired work. She has made new friends and always looks forward to the Karate classes. I caught her the other day "training" in her bedrroom, looking at the mirror pretending to teach her teddies. Another day she tried teaching the dogs. She loves it! I can see that the Karate classes are bringing my little girl's potential to light. I am happy with the results, but would love more sessions perhaps closer to were we live. More...

I bring my girls to this club for Karate. I want them to be safer especially in London when you hear about gangs and female abuse and what not, and learning self defense gives them the best chance. At home they are our little queens, but out there they need to be warriors and I want them to be tough. Sensei Jon and Sensei Michael are fantastic with their skills and knowledge, and our daughters are learning fast. More...

I have been with this club for over a year now, and I see it as the best investment for me and my 9 yrs old boy. I train as much as I can and sometimes my boy comes with me too. We both enjoy the classes very much, and we both have improved in concentration, fitness and self esteem, as well as reacting faster and feeling more confident. My boy has also made new friends, and at school as well, as he has stopped being as shy as he was.
I have attended lessons in Cardiff and a couple in London, and I have always trained with Sensei Jonathan. After reading the last review 1* (obviously from an unhappy parent), I felt the need to comment too as that comment is out of order. There is no need to be rude and be a total media troll to express your unhappy feelings about your experience. I have seen so many parents out there that treat their children like fragile glasses, and they don't last a minute in martial arts, or in tough ituations in life. Those children growing being overprotected, wil struggle in life when mum is not around in difficult situations. I have the upmost respect towards Sensei Jon, and his Karate and Kobujutsu teachings. Although, I understand it is not for everyone, but then leave and let it be. I recommend this club to anyone who is serious about learning self defense. Ideal for children, and adults, females and boys. After lots of practice and perseverance, then come good results! I have seen it in many students including my boy and myself. I am loving it!

Fantastic club for kids and adults. Flexible with locations and training under just one price. Not for those who seek just an extra activity for themselves or their kids, but for those interested in Karate as a way of life and learning selfndefence, discipline, respect, key skills for life. (Beware of malicious reviews going around from someone with conflicts of interest using false names and different sizes accounts, but by the same person. The best thing I can suggest is for you to try the lessons, which they offer 2 weeks for free, and see it for yourself) More...

A very good martial arts organisation for adults and children alike. Two of my daughters, and two of my grand children are all members and enjoy these classes very much. You pay a monthly fee and then you can attend many of their classes at different location. You can attend once a week, twice a week, 3 times a week at different places, but pay only the one monthly price!

The instructors (Sensei Jon & Sensei Patricia) are exceptional instructors who put an enormous amount of energy and effort in inspiring and pushing their students to achieve to their fullest potential. They are fair, but firm.

I see a great improvement in my youngest daughters attitude to her karate and she really enjoys the whole experience of learning a martial art. As well as the training, the Sensei's also teach the students to keep fit, eat well, and improve their mind and to maintain focus and see things through to the end through perseverance.

But this isn't just for the children, this is a very good organisation for adults as well to keep fit, learn a martial art, but also to push themselves beyond what they think they can achieve.

Go along and they will give you a very warm welcome as they are always approachable and easy to talk to. They always make themselves available to talk, before or after classes and are never in a rush, but always give up their time with willingness.

Thank you Ju-Dachi Martial Arts.

A fantastic school which promotes active life style for kids and adults! They offer practical lessons and fun for the younger ones. I like that they offer a lot of lessons during the week, at no extra cost! Also some lessons are held at different locations and different times, so it is quite flexible and suits me better as I work full time. Also they have a fantastic referral program, incredible discounts for families... What else? My daughter has been training with them for more than 3 years and she is very happy. She has met new friends, she is more active. we have seen her confidence build up. Recommend it 100% More...

We signed up our daughter to these classes for her to learn some self defence for her safety. She is totally enjoying them, and they are teaching her about martial arts and also about staying healthy and keeping fit. Also, she is learning some life lessons, such as seeing things through to the end, never giving up, but persevering with the challenges ahead. The adults that run and teach the classes are friendly, helpful and totally focused on the teaching of the arts to their students. They are firm, but fair with the children, to teach them self control, and respect for others. A great way for children to meet new friends and to interact with others. But, it doesn't end there, it is also for adults, no matter how old you are, you can learn some great techniques to keep you safe, but you will probably continue for the fact that it keeps you fit and healthy as well as safe. I highly recommend this for all ages. Go along and see, they will give you a warm welcome. More...

I am a childcare assistant and I find this club fantastic for children and also for adults. Ju Dachi teaches Shotokan Karate during the week, and some other martial arts on a one to one basis. It is keeping my children active, and motivated. As a mum, I am happy investing on something that is going to be for life: self defence. Especially in this day and age. The Saturday classes are brilliant as families can also train together, and me and my partner are considering joining and training together with our kids. Also they have adults only classes on the Fridays, which suit us perfectly after work. The instructors are dedicated, and they seem passionate about what they teach. We all love it. More...
