I was looking for Korean noodles ( like the ones on YouTube, mukbang ) lol . I always crave them and I found this place on yelp. Located in the heart of Downtown Fullerton and bars is a hidden gem. J's restaurant offers a unique taste on ordinary fries and wings. I parked over at the parking structure nearby. ($5 for parking) The vibe if this place is very amusing. You order your food first then you find your seat. The food was amazing. My husband and I drove around looking for a good place to eat and this was recommended on Yelp. We decided to check it out d/t the phenomenal reviews on here and it did not disappoint. From the staff waiters and cashier, they were all very welcoming and courteous. They have a lot of great options on their menu. As far as Korean Fried Chicken places go, this has to be one of my favorite places in OC! For a couple months, I would come here every wednesday for their 20% off wings special, which is such a good deal compared to other KFC places. It was convenient because I teach a dance class nearby so I would go right afterwards.I've come here several times to pick up and several times with friends to split a 20-piece. I've had all 4 flavors and they're all pretty amazing. Highly recommend trying them all and seeing which ones are you favorite.The services is also good. Every time I interact with someone at the register or placing a phone order to go, they're always very friendly and nice.When I get the food it always tastes very hot and fresh, and the flavor is amazing. Even when i'm full, I want to eat more haha.One of my qualms is that once in a while, the wings will be smaller than usual. Most of the time, the wingers are big and juicy, but once I was a bit disappointed that the wings were smaller in the batch.Overall, highly recommend trying this place out. Probably one of the best korean fried chicken places I've been to! I came for my friends birthday and we ordered the half soy garlic and half sweet chili wings. We also go the J's super fries! Their chicken batter was really crispy and crunchy while the meat was tender and juicy! The flavoring was really good in that it wasn't too salty or sweet. Their fries are BOMB! Great place for chicken wings and bulgogi!   Once we placed our order food came out fast. Js fries are so tasty.  Curly fries, bulgogi, sauce, the egg! Kpop tacos had bulgogi and sauce. My favorite spot in all of Downtown Fullerton! You must try sometime. Everything on their menu is so fire and their service deserves 20 stars! Alyana is always so helpful when I ask her for suggestions because I am always wanting to try something new and explore their beautiful menu. 10/10 I come here once a week for lunch & dinner. This place is absolutely amazing, it's literally a hidden gem. Not only is this place military or just civil service friendly but they also give out 15% discounts if you are current or retired members (which is very very rare in Asian restaurants). ‍‍The food was so good that I personally bought another bowl of their rice cakes and took them home just to share with all my friends. It's also very sports friendly with around 4-5 TVs always having some sort of sport on television! What I got was the amazingly spiced sweet chili wings (10 pc for 12.99) and the T.B.K (14.99). Their service is amazing and the food is even better! All of the employees are very attentive and accommodating. They were also super nice and chill! There was even someone who was coming around asking if we need more water, and I was definitely not expecting that level of service in a more casual place like this. As for the food I HIGHLY recommend any of their wings, but especially the soy garlic wings. The other spicy ones are a little too spicy for me, but when I tried them I couldn't stop eating them so my mouth burning but it was worth it. I have been here twice and I've really enjoyed the bulgogi bowl and the chicken wings are delicious. We found this place on a whim after a long day at Disney's California Adventure. We wanted to eat something before heading back to Los Angeles but didn't want anything from Downtown Disney. I was really in the mood for Bibimbap so Yelped this place. The décor was unique and I was excited to try this small shop in Fullerton. We order the Bulgogi Rice bowl and J's Super fries. These fries had to be the best loaded fries I have ever had. Fries with Bulgogi, Cheese, a fried egg and J's secret Sauce, I was tempted to order another one to eat at home. I love this place!! I am constantly coming here after an OC outing. I recommend the J's Kimchi Fries and any of their four wing flavors. If you like spicy food the habanero wings seem to be at the same spice level as the sweet chili wings, the only difference to me is the jalapenos added on top. This place was really cute! Smack dab right in the middle of Fullerton- open late for some grub! They play fun, hip music and cute decor. Small joint but good for groups and lively (loud). I really can't rate this place any higher. The owner Jason has been incredibly kind and recognized my girlfriend and I after only a few visits and since then, always greets us like friends and with a huge smile. Service is unparalleled, and the food is just as good as the service.My favorites are the bulgogi bibimbap, which comes with what I can best describe as a sweet Korean BBQ sauce, and the sauce is so good, I always ask for it no matter what I get.
