We first meet Josh when he shot our friends wedding last summer, chatting to him at they wedding it was immediately obvious what a cool guy he is and when we saw their photos we were blown away. Needless to say when it came to booking a photogragher for our own wedding he was immediately top of our list. We meet up with Josh to discuss our wedding and what sort of day we had planned, Josh really takes the time to get to know his clients and whats important to them. We had a hoot with him and he was booked! Absolutely no regretts we did! He was a pleasure to work with from start to finish & couldn't have made things any easier for us. Josh has a fanfastic eye for photograghy, our photos not only capture the amazing atmosphere of our day but also so many of the little things that we otherwise wouldn't have seen or perhaps of forgotten. We couldn't be happier to have these incredible momentos from our wedding, every time we look at them it's like reliving the day all over again, which you'll definitely be thankful for as it's true when everyone says it passes by in a flash!We can't recommend Josh enough, book him now! We have had such an incredible journey with Joshua over the last year and we wish we could do it all again! It started like a fairy tale; with us winning Joshua's annual Facebook competition. All we had done was the usual, like, comment and share of his competition image and that weekend he announced that we'd won! We couldn't believe our luck and as we absorbed all the photos on his website that feeling just got bigger and bigger. He was exactly what we'd been looking for, with a stunningly natural style. A few months and Skype calls later and we were meeting Joshua up in England's Lake District, for an engagement shoot in the area where my husband had grown up. It had been Josh's suggestion and he'd driven for hours to be there; proving his commitment to us before we'd even begun. He was as excited about the shoot as we were - having a history of special times there too - and had scouted the most beautiful walk for us with breath-taking mountainous backdrops and incredible lake scenes. After a chat round some pub pints, we were ready. Josh has a way of making everything fun and our self-conscious-camera nerves were quickly dissipated by his energy and love for the process. A few weeks later, when Josh sent us the engagement shoot photos, (in perfect time for us to use them on our Wedding website), we were speechless. Somehow, he'd made a couple of bumbling Londoners, mucking about on a cloudy grey day, look like a tourist board ad campaign. We were super happy and new that our Wedding photos were in safe hands.The Wedding was a whirlwind but somehow Joshua and his 2nd photographer James (Powell also a photographic wizard), were everywhere and captured so many moments that we wouldn’t have ever seen otherwise. They were there from start to finish across all three of our locations and even though we were in a 34 degrees heatwave, they were both beaming away and having fun themselves, which meant everyone around them was just relaxed and themselves. Within a month, Josh had delivered a whopping 800+ photos to us, both as a download link and a lovely gift-packaged USB. The only problem is that every single photo is worth its weight in gold, so choosing which ones to put in an album is going to be impossible!A thousand thank yous, Joshua! Josh was amazing! In fact, we don’t really think there is a superlative large enough to describe how happy we are with how he covered our wedding. I genuinely think no other photographer could come close in terms of what Josh offered in regards of his skill in capturing natural moments from our wedding, his enthusiasm and happy go lucky attitude or his planning of fantastic shots around both the city and the ever beautiful Norfolk coast. Everybody loves a good wedding – but Josh positively lives for them. His enthusiasm seemed boundless, which is what you need when planning gets a bit heavy going; and his knowledge and experience was extremely helpful. In particular, he was so laid back but effortlessly professional at the same time. He really helped us feel at ease about the whole thing and it was great to meet for a beer to chat through plans and strategies for helping us capture our special day on camera. We came across Josh after seeing some amazing atmospheric photographs of an old school friend’s wedding shared on social media. We instantly admired his photography and knew we needed to arrange to meet him. So, it all began in the Urban Jungle café. Josh has a way of making you feel as though you’ve been old friends for a long time when actually you’ve only just met. His warm and welcoming northern self-made us feel totally comfortable, which, for both of us was a huge deal! We knew we didn’t want a super formal photographer who specialised in staged shots, so when Josh described his work to us, it filled us with excitement and we just smiled at each other and knew we’d found our wedding photographer. I loved that he was excited by our ideas and was willing to listen and collaborate with us. His eyes lit up when we used words and phrases like SPONTANEOUS, RELAXED, NATURAL and ‘let’s just go with it’! Our engagement shoot was MAGIC! We had to be patient due to the freak weather on our first attempt but the wait was TOTALLY worth it! We knew we wanted to be photographed by the beach. We told Josh that we were going to bring our BIG kites and he just went with it. The thing is, Josh will completely embrace and make the most of the moment. The day of the shoot, we had incredible light, it was warm, and we were willing, so, we all ended up in the sea. The results of that decision are just insane and we truly still can’t believe that he managed to capture us in such an intense but natural way. We were blown away!If that wasn’t enough, we still had our wedding to come! We gave Josh a very open idea of the selected photos we definitely needed to capture for the family and we totally trusted him to document our wedding. Our day undoubtedly felt amazing and the moments Josh captured ranged from incredibly special and intimate moments between ourselves, our family and friends to fancy dress carnage on the dance floor. If you are looking for a photographer that moulds to your day but totally brings his own fun, carefree but professional personality to the party, then this is your man. Everyone has said how brilliant Josh was at the wedding, he was certainly a BIG art of our wedding day and we absolutely LOVED the final selection of photos. We received our special package this week accompanied by HARIBO’s (my husband’s proposal choice). Josh picks up on every slight detail and makes your day feel completely unique and personal. From the moment Josh replied to our initial enquiry, I knew we were only a winner! His professional and personalism shone through. We were impressed that he wanted to take the time to meet us, talk about our wedding plans, get to know us personally and what made us tick to ensure that he was a good fit for us. Out of all our enquiries with photographers Josh was one of the only people that wanted to/ offered to do this and we met up several times before our big day.Josh has a natural way of putting you and your guests at at ease and was an absolute pleasure to have at our very intimate and small wedding and our family and friends commented on what a lovey, friendly and genuine guy he is.We married at Cley Windmill it was clear that Josh had taken the time to get to know the area and find beautiful hidey-holes in the village to take some very beautiful shots of us. He pushes himself and goes the extra mile to get that ‘perfect’ shot and you can see the enthusiasm and excitement when spots a frame for a shot he likes! He cleverly documented all the small details about our venue and our personal touches on the day, so its impossible to forget any detail about our beautiful special day. We booked Josh for our wedding for December 2017. After looking through the mindfeild of wedding photographers and found his website and loved all the gorgeous photos. After meeting him he was so kind and funny and he did not disappoint on our day. He captured the most natural and beautiful images on our wedding day and all our friends and family commented on how amazing he was and his much they loved our photos. We booked Josh for our wedding in June 2017 after finding him on Instagram. We honestly cannot rate him high enough! Before the wedding we met up a couple of times to chat about our plans and he was so warm and friendly and totally put us at ease.
On the day he spent some time with both of us separately in the morning and captured some really special moments as well as making sure we were OK! Throughout the day he was there to capture everything but not once did we feel like he was intruding or controlling the day. The pictures he took were all completely natural and looking through them really takes us back to the day, helping us really go back and remember each moment.
