Q&As

I start with a free in-home consultation to discuss your design needs and preferences, the services I offer, and pricing options. Once you choose which option is best for you, I get to work on planning your design. You can also go ahead and schedule your design appointment during that time.

I can cater to any design style. If there's a certain style you know you like, that's great! If not, that's ok too. I will help you decide which style is best for you.

I love working with people, and I love decorating! I've always had a soft spot for helping people in all aspects. I also love, love, love decorating!! I love using my creative side and bringing my ideas to life. Customer satisfaction is my number one priority, so the absolute best thing about my job is coming up with a design that my client loves as much as I do. Being able to make people happy through my work is one of the best feelings in the world.

10 years ago, for various reasons, I chose to stop working and became a stay-at-home mom. Once my kids were older, and in school, I wanted to get back into the workforce. Being that I had such a large unemployment gap on my resume, it was very difficult finding a job. I could've went and got any dead end, minimum wage job, but I didn't want that. I wanted a career. I wanted a job I could grow with and be proud of. So, I decided to go back to school in hopes that I would have better luck. I decided on a trade school, and as I'm looking through the different options offered through trade schools, I came across Interior Decorating. A light bulb immediately came on in my head. Like, why didn't I think of this before? I love Interior Decorating! I've always loved it! So I went back to school and became certified. Upon applying for Interior Decorating jobs, I hit a roadblock. Every company wanted me to have previous experience from another company, which I didn't have, even though I was qualified for the job. So I told myself, if I'm going to do this, I have to do it on my own. I jumped in feet first, and started my own business. It's been challenging at times, but I'm in control of my career path, and I've loved every minute of my journey. I have absolutely no regrets!

I'm very flexible and personable. I understand busy schedules, tight budgets, and the need to feel comfortable with your designer. Although I have set hours and prices, I try to work with my clients based on their needs. A designer should never make their clients feel as though they can't accommodate them for any reason, and I won't do that. No job is too big, too small, too simple, or too complicated in my opinion. If you want it done, we'll figure out how to make it happen.
