Any and all food that Joshua Houghton has ever created has been absolutely delicious! So much thought goes into the pairings of foods, beverages and presentation. The way Joshua and Colin create recipes and menus by bringing ingredients straight from the farm to table is just fantastic. There is nothing more appealing than eating something fresh that you know was grown right there on the farm or locally sourced. Joshua and Colin turn food into an entire experience. They pay close attention to every detail, and elevate what you thought you know about food, and leave an impression that will last forever. It comes from Colin's knowledge of local products that are in season and at peak freshness, and Joshua's ability to transform these ingredients into delicious masterpieces. Their fall event, Speakeasy in the Woods, was located on the farm from where some their produce comes from. It isn't often that you attend an event where the produce was grown, prepared, and turned into an extraordinary meal all at the same location. These are the guys! So much thoughtful preparation goes into every aspect of their events, it's clear they love what they do and just want to spread the love. And if you need catering for special diets, vegan, gluten-free, whatever, they have you covered. And not just a hummus platter and green salad for the veggie folks, like most parties, but delicious dishes created with just as much care as anything else they serve. Had an AMAZING experience at an event of theirs. Great people, great atmosphere and even better food! They made a point to not only talk about the ingredients but to show you how fresh they were by picking them right on the farm. Its hard to find food as fresh as I tasted here while being reasonable priced, healthy and more importantly tasty.
