There are no words that can describe our experience with Joshua! We flew all the way from Dubai and he made all our dreams come true! He made an effort to get to know us weeks ahead of our photo shoot and during the shoot he made all our nerves vanish! We felt comfortable to be ourselves around him and he captured those moments beautifully! The photos turned out to be magical as we never got to have a wedding, this photoshoot made it all worth it! Josh was the first thing we booked for our wedding, before we even booked our venue. First of all, if you’re looking for a wedding photographer - don’t hesitate, book Josh! From day 1 he was happy to answer any wedding questions we had and he was full of helpful advice.It's taken us a while to write thisrecommendation because we really don’t know where to start. We love every single one our photos Josh has taken, both in our couple shoots and on our wedding day. Josh manages to show emotion in his photos, he managed to capture moments of our wedding day that I’m sure nobody else could of, and our wedding photos really do tell the most perfect story of our wedding day without needing any words. We couldn’t recommend Josh enough! We recently asked Josh to be our Elopement photographer. He really did us proud with the quality of the photos he has produced for us. On the day he made sure he got some good shots of the hotel and surrounding area, followed by some of us individually before we’d seen each other. He had a real talent for make us feel at ease and was a pleasure to talk to and get to know. He knew the right moments though the ceremony to take photos, and we would never have known he was there, which made the photos really relaxed and true to life. After the ceremony he took us to some scenic spots he knew at the hotels sister hotel - right on the shores of Lake Windermere, he captured everything we wanted and more. Joshua is a wonderful photographer, and a great person !We actually made two sessions with him. A "couple session", a few months before the wedding, getting to know each other, chatting, and making beautiful "natural" pictures. From that day, we knew we wanted him for our wedding. And that was even better !!Joshua is discreet, highly available and ready to help, funny, friendly, calm and calming (thanks for your patience, Josh !). Guests loved having dinner with him, and my only regret is ... I got married last year and my photographer didn’t take any photos of me in my wedding dress!! I booked Joshua for this years Race for Life as I was walking the 5K in the same dress on my one year anniversary! ! All I can say is WOW!! From the moment we contacted Joshua he has been amazing! He was very enthusiastic and as excited as we were to be coming to Malcesine, Lake Garda to photograph our wedding. Joshua got our vision, natural photos with not a lot of posing! Joshua has kept in touch for the year prior to the wedding (even wishing us a Merry Christmas!) and responds very quickly (within hours) to any questions.

Joshua met up with us in Lake Garda before the wedding to discuss any thoughts prior to the wedding. On the day Joshua was so easy to work with we didn't even realise that he was there or taking photos! He mingled with guests and became part of the wedding family!

We had the photos back by the time we returned from honeymoon and we were thrilled! The photos are fabulous and are a lasting memory of our special day!

I have worked with Josh a lot over the past few years as I often go to dress brides on the day of their wedding. He is always brilliant to work with and knows how important the hours before the wedding are. He captures the special moments - the smiles, the laughs and even the tears. He is calm and organised and always achieves what every bride wants him to. He is imaginative and creative as well as capturing natural and precious moments that couldn't possibly be staged. Joshua is an absolute gent, a really lovely guy who certainly knows his stuff. My daughter and now son in law were let down by their original photographer and Josh very kindly stepped in. I am so, so glad he did as we absolutely love his work and style of photography. He arrived at my house on Saturday morning , after a very early start and a long drive and he was raring to go ( after a swift coffee). He just snapped away and we hardly noticed he was there. The results are fabulous.

It's hard to put into words just how fabulous Josh is. Firstly, he is very professional and exceptionally organised however, his friendly, outgoing personality is really what puts Josh above others. Secondly, he is very open to suggestions (special shots etc) and steers his own skill to combine with your vision to create magical photos. Thirdly, he makes you feel very comfortable being the focus of attention. As a larger bride I had many hang ups about how I looked in pictures, Josh eased my nerves and I was quickly comfortable and felt beautiful on my special day. Josh deserves more credit than a review can give.
He picked up the pieces when our initial photographer went bust just a few weeks before our big day.
He even managed to fit in a pre-shoot for us, which was alot of fun and we immediately became friends. It was just like we had known each other forever and meant that the wedding day was so relaxed, particularly in the morning throughout the bridal prep.
We cant thank Josh enough for adding to the atmosphere at our wedding and giving us some fabulous pics, which capture the day perfectly.
Also, the website is easy to use from beginning to end and overall we couldn't have asked for a better service!

Joshua Wyborn was recommended to us by a friend who had him shoot her wedding, and from the initial point of contact, found him incredibly warm and personable.
All throughout the wedding planning process, he kept in touch, lending kind words and support where most needed, which I found reassuring and helpful.

On the wedding day, Joshua kept discreetly close by and without being sufficating or taking anything away from the ceremony itself.
After the service and for the couples shots later on, he was engaging and made us feel really at ease...neither of us are 'naturals' infront of the camera but with Josh it was great and really comfortable - we have some incredible photos from these moments.

So where do I start? It has taken me a whole 2 months to think of the words to thank Josh for his fantastic work! Josh made our wedding complete, from beginning to end. Our journey started in March, when we had a casual chat over copious amounts of coffee at Foxes Cafe Lounge about what we wanted our wedding photos to be like. Josh gave us his complete and honest advice which is what he is brilliant at; he’s so knowledgable that there’s no ‘rubbish chat’ just brilliant, honest advice.

Josh arrived in the morning at my home in Yorkshire and you would have literally thought he was part of the family; he made the bridal party and I feel so comfortable and relaxed, I sometimes didn’t realise he was even there ha ha! Josh stayed all day at our wedding and the outcome of our photographs was amazing; our photos are simply stunning all down to one talented man and that is ... Mr Josh Wyborn! One thing that I can’t wait to do in the future, is show my children, grand-children and great grand-children our beautiful album. So, to begin with this review, its taken us a bit of time to summon up the words......we started our wedding planning a good year or so before our wedding. We Met our Wedding Planner Amber, at the Castle Inn Hotel Bassenthwaite. Amber put us in touch With Josh.

We had a look at Josh's work and was absolutely blown away by what he could capture, and we knew within seconds of looking that he was the guy for us! 100%.

We met Josh for our first Couple Portrait Session back in February, it snowed, and snowed and then turned to rain, sleet, hail.......and well, as Elsa would say we had to 'let it go' see what we done there Josh ;)
Anyway this shoot was a bit of a wash out, although we got some pretty spectacular shots, Josh agreed to meet us again for a second go.

On the second meet for another shoot, josh had already put us at ease, and actually it felt like having a walk with someone who had actually become a friend, there just happened to be a camera there. Wee laughed and had an amazing shoot with some absolutely perfect shots of us both.
Even if stephen did hear you say something, off the rocks.....rhymes with kiss. Haha.

Then we come to the Biggest day of our lifes, the day we got Married. Josh was there with me and all my groomsmaids, he again made me feel relaxed. Even after a little while my groomsmaids started to relax. Josh was also another person there to help me relax, even with the stress of a wedding day.

Josh has managed to capture our day! Everyone had said a wedding day goes by so fast, but with Josh's photos we can literally recall every second of our day, from getting ready, to the aisle, to the epic rave at night.
He has captured our day, and that in itself speaks volumes.

Josh, you truly are amazing at what you do, you have such a talent. You create images that summin up a couple to an absolute tee. We couldnt wish for a better photographer, he helps you relax, and puts you at ease instantly.

Josh has now become a part of our lives now, and has also become a friend. :) we honestly couldnt have asked for a better person to capture everything, you are 1 in a million.

Well what can we say about this guy

Absolutely amazing for starters! And just a massive thank you for photographing our wedding.

Jade and I first got in touch with Josh after hunting around for a wedding photographer for a couple months back in 2016. We liked his style and images he’d captured from various weddings and couples portraits and we both said this is the guy for us. He didn’t disappoint, he absolutely really smashed it.

Our first experience with Josh was for our couples portrait session. He put our minds at ease straight away as neither of us really like our photos taken. We walked through Grizedale Forrest and just talked through the basics whilst stopping off every now and then to get some shots. They all came out better than we had imagined and cementing in our minds we’d chosen the right photographer to capture our wedding.

The wedding was such an amazing experience and Josh captured the whole vibe of the day. From spending the morning with Jade and her bridesmaids getting ready to the main event and into the evening. So many of our family and guests said how nice and friendly Josh is.

The next part was the photos. Firstly we got a highlights slideshow of the day. This was made extra special as it had a song playing over it which was the song that Jade had picked but missed hearing it whilst we signed the registry, neither of us knew he was going to do this. The images were fantastic and we were both beaming. Our full gallery arrived just a couple of days later and there wasn’t a single photo that we could fault, like I said earlier every image just captured the exciting vibe of the day.

So many things go on during your wedding that it becomes a blur to you. Your stressing about this and that, yes you have your family and friends around to calm you down but on our day we had Josh as well, his calming cheeky nature just set us both at ease.

So if you want a fun, quirky, professional photographer that can capture the vibe and fun of your wedding day, this is the guy for you. More...

Josh was recommended to us by our wedding florist. She had nothing but positive things to say and having never heard of him we decided to check out his website and see his work for ourselves! After a quick look through some of Josh’s work he was instantly added to our ‘Top 3’ choices. We were still pondering our decision when meeting with our florist, only for there to be a knock at the door and in walks the man himself! Josh is such a friendly and genuine man, meeting him in person and being able to chat through his style and our vision literally sealed the deal!

There were a few things we did and didn’t want so Josh created us a bespoke package to fully meet our needs. From then on there was frequent communication between us which meant that by the time the wedding came around Josh felt more like a friend than a wedding supplier.

Back in the Autumn we met for our couple photo shoot which allowed us to get used to some of the typical wedding shots. This meant that when the day itself arrived the bride and groom shots took far less time than anticipated as we had already had a good bit of practice. A couple photo shoot isn’t something we had really thought about having, but looking back it was invaluable as we both learnt so much about each other and really got to know the man who would be capturing the most important day of our lives!

On the day itself Josh already knew exactly what we both wanted and was able to capture our most precious moments without any fuss. His charming personality was a hit with the guests and bridal party alike! After the wedding breakfast Josh drove us down to Bassenthwaite Lake to take some lakeside shots...his driving is just as good as his photography!! The day passes by so quickly and we both commented afterwards on how easy both our personal shots and the group shots had been.

By the time we had danced the night away there was already an edited image waiting for us! The day after the wedding there were a few more. This is a really nice touch as the photos are such a massive part of the wedding it’s lovely to get a sneak preview. That being said Joshua didn’t keep us waiting too much longer at all before our wedding slideshow went live and our wedding shots were ready to view!

We ended up adding an extra 20pages to our wedding album as we just couldn’t narrow down our favourite shots....there were so many!! And my word were the extra pages worth the pennies. The album is nothing less than a piece of art! This is one seriously talented guy! The album flows throughout the day with different collections and displays on each page. Neither of us can stop looking at it! Josh even took the time to drive 40miles to our home to hand deliver it.

Joshua is a fantastic photographer, all round genuinely great guy and I would recommend him to anyone in the blink of an eye! Thank you for all your hard work!

We knew we were going to book Josh for our wedding photography at the first meeting we had with him to look through his work.

He is an extremely talented photographer and so easy to get along with and talk to.
The quality of his work is exceptional, he sees the beauty in people and in surroundings, and manages to capture it in a photo for everyone else to see and for you to keep forever.
I have absolutely no regrets in booking Josh, I felt comfortable working with him from day 1!

The wedding album he has created for us tells the story of our day perfectly. He has designed the layout and added the pictures that give the best representation of every part of the day. We have approved the digital draft and I am so looking forward to the hard copy arriving because I know I will never tire of looking at it.

Josh was with us all day and we’ll into the evening reception! Nothing was too much trouble for him. He got the balance of allowing us to enjoy our day, but also having time with myself and my husband to get some shots of just the two of us, perfectly.
