Depending on the project, I will ask clients if they have a specific vision for the website and what are the end goals of the website. Sometimes, clients know exactly what they want, they just need help getting it to that point. Other times, clients just know they want something that looks good. In that case, I will work with the client to understand what they like/dislike about different sites and features. The end goal of the site is just as important. Are you trying to drive sales? Is it a portfolio site? The end goal of the site influences the features that we may decide to add to the site.

The secret to a great photograph is capturing the feeling of a moment. Technical aspects can go a long way with this, but ultimately the feeling invoked by the photo is the difference between "good" and "great" photos. Sometimes, that is a happy, fun feeling. Other times, that may be a powerful or epic feeling. The setting of the photograph, composition, and lighting of the photograph all play a major role in influencing what feeling is portrayed. I have had photos in the past that were technically great, but because they lacked that feeling that the client is looking for, they were overlooked.

I will ask for the specific details of the shoot and clarify what they are looking for. I want to make sure that we are on the same page when it comes to our vision. Ultimately, I want to make great photographs; but when I am hired by a client, it is my job to make sure that they are getting the photos they want.

I love the places, the people, and the opportunities that photography and videography offer me. I love going to beautiful places at the most beautiful time of day and enjoying the atmosphere. I also enjoy the creative aspect, as it keeps me excited!

I had been doing photography and videography for many years before I started my business, and although my hobbies were always changing, photography was the one thing that never changed. I loved capturing moments for myself and for other people, so it was a natural transition to begin to work professionally.

Each client has a specific taste, and each photographer has a specific style. I am not advocating that every client choose me because my style is not everyone's taste. With that though, if you like to have a good time, you like adventures (or not, I do more than adventure photography), and/or you are a fan of my style that is influenced more by National Geographic photographers rather than modern-day portrait photographers, then I am your man. My wife accompanies me and helps me with every shoot and we will work hard to make sure that we are meeting your needs and desires in a professional matter. Our goal is to blow you away with our service and our pictures!

I can provide some services remotely, such as website design and video editing. Product photography can also be done remotely with shipping, but other than that my services are on location.
