Josh's On The Square

I was silent in the morning until my tummy started rumbling. Hungry as a horse, it was destiny unbound when the driver Esther, Wilson, Piper and myself were swept away by the food at Josh's. I opted for 2 meatsticks (my way of saying hot dogs) and fries. I loved the taste and I appreciate that they steam the poppy seed bun. With ketchup on every table you too can be wading in the velvet sea's ruby waves of ketchupy joy. The well staffed kitchen seems ready to rock and roll and get the show on the road. I'd bet they never get their a$$ handed to them when they have to set the gearshift to the high gear of their souls. Josh really did write the book on fast casual food with a twist, it's simple and his staff def read the book. The fee they charge is super reasonable. From light fare and salads to heavy things like beef and chicken, you just can't go wrong. My daughter loves the chicken here, we are two birds of a feather. If I were free to critique them in any way, there wasn't any music playing which is kind of a waste, but we got to talk about our weekend at Alpine Valley, where we got our faces melted by the boys of summer.  Whether you're feeding a big group for party time or an army of one, you gotta contact Josh's in Northbrook. We went here for the first time on March 1st and we met Josh at the register. He is an awesome guy, so friendly and welcoming. He even gave us tshirts. To top it off, the food was delicious and unforgettable! The best burger and gyros we have ever had. We definitely recommend this place and plan to come back again real soon. We just flew into town and stopped in on our way to Milwaukee. This place was DELICIOUS!  There was 7 of us and we had burgers, chicken wrap with bacon and dogs and every one of us commented on how good the food was!  Great job Josh's!

No frills, good food.  The gyro was generous with freshly cooked bread.  Burgers were tasty and as part of the kids meals a solid value.
