My name's Josh. I’m a mobile Personal Trainer in Ellesmere Port. I help people lose weight, get fit and feel great!
I travel to you at home, work or your local park, to provide my personal training services. 
I am based in Ellesmere Port, but can also cover areas such as Chester, Wirral, Queensferry and Runcorn.

I find most personal trainers very generic but if you are serious about making a lifestyle choice then Josh is your man he really wants you to be the best version of yourself you can be, whatever level that maybe.

Josh and his approach is very much tailed to the individual and does not mind thinking outside the box in order to get the best results for his clients, unlike most PT, no sales pitch , Josh gains satisfaction from seeing you archive , whether working with him short-term or long-term

I would certainly recommend Josh’s personal training to anyone who is determined to improve their fitness and body image for good. He is an extremely competent and encouraging trainer, who both assists and pushes you to perform to your best efforts. After suffering from a serious health problem for 2 years, causing my weight to fluctuate in the process, I was worried that I would never regain my previous healthy body shape and strength. However, Josh has helped me to achieve my goals by tailoring a specific fitness plan that would ensure that I’d see the results for myself. After following his training for just 8 weeks I have lost 7 and a half inches off my waist! I feel much more confident and content with how my body looks, and such results have motivated me to carry on exercising and to lead a healthier lifestyle.

Great guy, Great trainer!
Josh is a very capable and knowledgeable man and builds your confidence to workout. The fact that he is mobile and can come to your home is a massive help. I have been training with josh now for a couple of months and can already feel the difference in my weight, energy and confidence. Since working out with josh i have seen the barriers that stopped me in the past i can now smash through.. He really has took my workouts to the next level. I would highly recommend josh for a personal trainer or just advise on your workout.

Brilliant guy, knows how to push you in the right way to keep you motivated and to keep going even when you think you can't go anymore. Highly recommended! Also a bonus that he does home training, it's not the easiest to up and go to a gym for the first time, this really helps your confidence and gives you a boost.

I started the gym in June of last year and Josh was the PT that was assigned to help me achieve my goals. After all these months, I've lost in excess of 7 stone, all thanks to the advice and guidance Josh has provided to me. Throughout my time working with Josh, his advice, time and guidance has been entirely free but I would happily pay for his services, given the massive success I've had when working in conjunction with him to achieve my weight-loss goals. If you're looking to reach your fitness goals, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Josh and his expert advice/guidance for a second. To add, he is an incredibly approachable, laid-back person who is happy to work around you. Cannot recommend enough!

I have to say a huge thank you to josh. He knows his stuff!
I was very unsure if I wanted to go to the gym past experiences and uncertainty put me off exercising. I knew I needed to for my health. Josh has helped by understanding my concerns and issues that I had. He has taken on board my medical history and set me a program I can follow without being confused. He is supportive. He asks questions and puts a lot of thought into your personal programme.
I am just starting to exercise after having a back op. Josh knows all about my condition and is very encouraging.
I would recommend anyone who is unsure, needs help or advice about the whole training thing to give josh a call.

How do you help your clients achieve their fitness goals?

Firstly I would need to get to the reason/s why you struggling to achieve your goals and identify any roadblocks in the way, here are a few examples-

No time- I would work with you to devise and agree times around your schedule where you are free

Worried about age- age is never a barrier more a physiological reason to be worried, so its my job to help motivate and prove to you that you can do anything you want with my support and your own determination

Never done any fitness before - we start at your own pace and build your fitness from the ground up learning new skills and making you feel good every time you do something as it will be new and exciting .

This are just a few examples but the point is its my job to educate and give you the tools to help you get where you want to be and beyond and at the end of the day that is way I love being a personal trainer as I get to play a part in you changing your life for the better.

What do you love most about your job?

I love transferring my love and passion for physical fitness and proving its hugely positive effectiveness on both the body and mind which in turn improves our lifestyles. As cheesy as sounds there is something beyond rewarding about having a career where success is not about making money for some big company but by the difference in peoples life’s and the happiness that brings to them, also selling personal training suits my personality down to the ground because unlike selling a car for example I get to pose the truthful facts to people to show the wide benefits of pt instead of telling you what you want to hear.

What inspired you to start your own business?

I chose to become a personal trainer because one of my main skills is problem solving skills and finding practical solutions or coping strategies for those problems. Personal training is the perfect fit for me as it gives me a chance to combine my love of physical fitness with my desire to look at everybody who I meet who has a desire or goal to change something about themselves and help find a long term solution.
