Cognitive Behaviour Therapy

I wanted to try therapy after never exploring/considering it as an option in the past. I had a few sessions with Jon to address some mild anxiety and just see if I could understand how to manage my behavioural habits better. Our sessions were interesting and very helpful in the end. Jon was easy to talk to and highlighted some excellent techniques that now help me deal with moments I might feel more anxious. I am definitely able to rationalise my thinking more. Cognitive Behaviour Therapy

I had three sessions with Jon as I needed help to reduce the feelings of anxiety and stress and wanted to understand my behaviours better. I found Jon extremely easy to talk to and very friendly. From the first conversation we had I felt like he completely understood my needs and problems and I instantly trusted that he could help me. I found our sessions very interesting and extremely helpful and through the learning, support and guidance he has given me I have gained the tools I needed to change my thinking and my beliefs and therefore reduce my anxiety. Jon helped me to explore my own personality traits and understand the feelings that I was experiencing and taught me various techniques on how to deal with them. I feel that Jon has taught me skills and lessons that I will use for the rest of my life. At first, I was quite skeptical about how hypnotherapy would help reduce my issue of insomnia, but I agreed to keep an open mind. Over three sessions, Jon was able to explore my own personality traits and tell me things about myself that I hadn’t previously known. This helped me to better understand that my insomnia was something that I myself had contributed to building and was often a result of my own attitude towards sleep. The hypnotherapy itself lasted about thirty minutes and was very relaxing. It allowed me to find better ways of relaxing myself, which has made me less anxious and more confident in my ability to relax and sleep easily. It’s been about a month now since I last saw Jon, and while hypnotherapy was not an immediate solution, it has significantly helped to reduce my insomnia over the past month. Overall, Jon was very professional and his attention was positioned solely on helping me fix my insomnia, so I would definitely recommend seeing Jon and trying hypnotherapy to anyone suffering from similar issues to me. Hypnotherapy

I went to see Jon on 4th Jan 2020 for smoking cessation and can honestly say is the best thing I ever did as have not had a cigarette since, although have had the occasional urge to smoke for around 30 seconds (roughly twice a day) but nothing unbearable!

Jon was very easy to talk to and understand in regards to the fact that smoking is such an unnecessary and meaningless thing to do!. In the days and weeks since meeting Jon that fact has just become more and more apparent and feel smoking is definitely something I used to do....but is now something now firmly in my past.

I visited Jon around 4 weeks ago due to me not being able to lose weight .
I have been a yo yo dieter for more years than I can remember and have tried everything ‘. I paid for WW. Slimming world gym membership all the usual things but lost it then put it back on as I couldn’t get to the classes due to work etc
After reading about hypnotherapy I thought I should give this a try . What had I got to lose ? I am 55 yrs old and although sceptical about it as I know what I should and shouldn’t eat why do I need someone else to tell me and pay them for that ? Well I am now just over one stone lighter in 4 weeks and feel amazing I have changed my eating habits completely and I shock myself at times at with my new way of eating without even trying . I have still another stone to go but can see it happening with no effort at all from my part . I can’t thank Jon enough fir this as it’s so nice when people say wow you look amazing how much weight have you lost ? Even my boss said yesterday at a meeting ‘ look at you ! You lost a lot of weight. I am wearing clothes one size smaller that have been in the cupboard for years. Kept buying and saying I’ll slim into that ! Well I feel amazing healthier and delighted with the results . I cannot recommend Jon enough . Think on the time and money spent on the classes the meals etc. You don’t need any of that I had 3 sessions and it was worth every penny and more. If you think you have tried everything but haven’t tried hypnotherapy with Jon then you are wasting valuable time . He is very nice makes you feel comfortable and gets results ‘

Hi my name is Martin. I sorry it didn't work for me, but john did ask me a few times am I sure, as I only just lost my husband, so it was my fault, not johns, as I should have listened to him, yes it was to early to give up smoking, as I am still so lost, after losing my husband of 47 years, I will do it again, but when the time is right, when I don't hurt as much. I love helping people. Most of my clients have been everywhere before they contact me, I'm often seen as "the last resort" It gives me great satisfaction to help my clients when they often feel they are beyond help.

I was inspired to become a hypnotherapist after I used hypnosis to help with some personal issues. I 'got' hypnotherapy very quickly, it seemed a very natural progression to me.

I believe I can help my clients with most issues, but I also feel I help people in a very relaxed, friendly manner. Often, my clients will describe the work I do as "enjoyable" which I think is high praise for any therapist.

Services

I am a one-session Smoking Cessation Specialist, it really is one of the easier parts of my job helping clients give up the wicked weed. Each single session takes only 90 minutes, I charge £295 for a Smoking Cessation session (one is all that's required) which equates to the cost average smoker's habit for one month. The session lasts around 90 minutes and addresses both parts of your mind ie the conscious (logical/rational) and the subconscious (emotional) At the moment the two parts of your mind are disagreeing with each other, which is why, when you say to your logical self "I need to stop smoking" your emotional self (subconscious) says "but what am I going to do when I'm drinking tea, driving in my car , having a glass of wine" Where will I get my pleasure from? This is where every smokers problem lies. Angel/devil on each shoulder. However, when we have addressed both parts of your brain and both parts of your brain agree with each other " I am a non - smoker and it feels amazing" then your smoking habit cannot function anymore. It really is that simple. I am very proud to have a 95% success rate! Of course there will be some effort required on your part but I believe I will make the process 90% easier for you to quit.
