I messaged Johnny Mitchell’s pretty much at the last minute for a brisket that would feed about 10 people. My hopes weren’t too high since it was less than 24 hours notice when I needed the brisket. You see, my daughter was coming home for the first time in 2 years for a visit as she is in the AirForce. Well, let me tell you, Johnny and his wife, Jill, came through with the brisket!! And OMG, it was absolutely AMAZING!! It was very tender and everyone enjoyed it. I actually had more people show up than expected and still had some brisket leftover. The price was very fair. I had my 30th birthday party here last night! A Murder Mystery Masquerade Party! It was my favorite birthday yet! The staff was awesome, so helpful, so enthusiastic! This place was absolutely delicious. We drove 12 hours from Miami and I was dying for bbq, they went out of their way to serve us since they were not open to the public that night. This food satisfied me beyond my craving and the service was amazing. Thanks again to the incredible staff and chef for accommodating us last minute, we will definitely be returning! I honestly cannot day enough good about this place! The barbecue sauce is to die for! My fiancé got a steak (please don't ask me what kind; it was big and medium rare) and he said it was amazing! Their cheese curds are seriously incredible and we shared the appetizer order. The veggies were also great. All of the staff were very friendly and polite. The service was on point. My fiancé and I had just gotten engaged the day before and when we told them we were celebrating, they gave us a free slice of cake! (Disclaimer: I cannot guarantee you a slice of cake for telling them you are celebrating an event. I can, however, guarantee that if you purchase a slice of coke cake that you will not regret it.) Awesome food! Service was great and my daughter even got a visit from Chef Johnny himself cause he wanted to meet the 13yr old girl that loved his "Dont do it" house made hot sauce that he said brings most grown men to tears( my husband being one of those men lol, my daughter didnt even break a sweat) Wonderful atmosphere and the prices were very reasonable. What a great find! The BBQ is solid and the real standout was our server, Hillary. She is one of the best servers I have ever encountered. I travel the country eating and drinking for work. Really. It would be my pleasure to have this ray of sunshine as my perpetual server. She truly made us feel as though our smallest need was her delight to meet. Amazing pulled / chopped pork.  Great smoked chicken.  I have a very high standard for Bbq.. and this places checks all the good marks.  Service is prompt and the bathrooms are clean.  The hit ( tomato based) BBQ sauce should be sold and the toast might be the very best I've had.  Put this on your list!!! I can say without exaggeration, that this was the best BBQ that I have ever had. I am hardly a connoisseur, but it was incredible. The pulled pork and ribs were phenomenal. This place is really good. The smoked chicken is awesome! All the side orders I have tried have been really good. The brisket was good. I have eaten inside once and had a very good dinner and great service. I have taken my order to-go several times and it has always been good. The only complaint I have is for their "Coca-Cola" cake that we got and it was no good (too dry). I just wont get that cake again. But everything else was really good. More...
