Me and my husband booked our wedding with 4 weeks notice and Johnny really was the only guy for the job, we booked him based on the beautiful photographs he took at my Brother-in-laws wedding. Johnny captured our wedding superbly, I can’t even express how over the moon me and my husband are with our wedding photographs. He managed to capture moments in the most unexpected places, in the middle of a busy city centre canal, in the middle of a street and the results are just beautiful. Johnny really caught beautiful moments shared with our loved ones and I can’t thank him enough. Can I also mention that he actually took me to my wedding reception! He saved the day, sometimes hero’s don’t wear capes they carry cameras! (my husband got stranded in Birmingham City centre having given his car keys to brother to look after!) We cannot recommend Johnny enough - everything has been absolutely perfect from the first email through to receiving the fantastic photos. We opted for 'The Bestest' package which included a second photographer (Hannah in our case), and having them both around was wonderful. Within 4 weeks we had a brilliant selection of photos which capture the day exactly as we remember it! Nothing seems too much for Johnny - his communication is excellent, his style of photography is stunning, and he was equally happy taking candid shots as he was taking organised group photos. At times you had no idea the photographers were around, and yet they seemed to capture so many emotions and moments you didn't get to see yourself on the day!100% would recommend Johnny Dent to anyone looking for a top-quality wedding photographer. We cannot recommend Johnny enough. He was the only photographer we met with, but from the start of the process he worked to really understand what was important to us, and reassured me (an insecure turns-into-Chandler-Bing–in-front-of-a-camera bride) that everything would turn out great. We’ve had our photographs back and shared them with our friends and family and they have all been so complimentary; not just about the high quality versatile images, but also about Johnny and Craig (the 2nd photographer) themselves. I cannot thank Johnny enough for his work at my sister's wedding. He was an absolute delight to have around on the day and managed to capture all the chaos and fun of the morning preparations, the ceremony and the reception in a beautiful way, without ever being obtrusive. Without knowing my family he seems to have managed to get perfect portraits of all of us, and even managed to make the dreaded group photos fun. Just do it, he will be the icing on the top of an amazing day. Johnny integrated perfectly, he wasn't obtrusive and you wouldn't know he was taking photos if it wasn't that incessant click click click ;) ;) He really put so much thought into different aspects of our day and how to accommodate us when doing so. I was really awkward and gave him a list to make sure nothing got missed as I wanted to be meticulous but I know I didn't need to because I trust Johnny implicitly. Having recently updated my website, I asked Johnny to take some new headshots for my page. I wanted images that reflected my personality;
I'm not a serious sausage so the final images needed to be fun and a little bit quirky. Despite my profession, I hate having my picture taken and Johnny was able to capture the best side of me despite my awkwardness in front of the camera. The final pictures are colourful, vibrant and me all over - so many friends and past clients have commented that they encapsulate me and me business down to a tee (my marketing strategy is much about selling me as a photographer as it is about selling my skill, so this really is important!)
Thank you for putting up with my potato face, Johnny - I am really grateful and I love love love the photographs... Something I don't say very often!
