My daughter’s modeling agency highly recommended John for her profesional pictures. John was very professional and knowledgeable. He spent several minutes reviewing magazines and poses with my daughter. He decided the look he wanted for her and made her feel super comfortable. The pictures were amazing! John is a superb artist. My daughter is 15 years old and did her first photo shoot with him. He was kind, professional and fun. Caryn Models sent us to John's studio for our daughter's portfolio shots. Luckily we were first on his list, so he spent generous time explaining the industry and how to get the best shots. Our daughter, 14, is naturally nervous in new situations - but John created such a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere that she "fell right into place." His studio is super cool, located in a historic warehouse, recently renovated in NE MPLS. It has a rustic, yet fashionable feeling, with neat wood floors and a huge metal door that opens up to a old loading dock.When we left our daughter asked if John would be shooting for all the events in the future. I highly recommend John Wagner for any photography needs that you may have. He was recommended by a friend whose daughter is a model. John produced her portfolio and the photos are stunning.I contacted John for 2 of my kids' senior pictures and found the experience to be terrific. He was very responsive and friendly in setting up our photo shoot. His studio space and location is perfect for a sophisticated backdrop (weathered brick walls, huge old windows, etc) and he really cares about the finished product.
