I'm happy to say that I've had 2 wonderful experiences with John. I first met him when he came to our office to do professional headshots. John sent us some helpful tips a couple of days before on how to nail the best possible headshot and made all of us feel comfortable in front of the camera. My co-workers and I couldn't be happier with the results.  My second experience with John was for our maternity shoot. This was a very special time in our life and I wanted our photos to be unique and timeless. John is a true artist with a great vision. Weeks before our photoshoot he shared some inspiration, helped us pick out the perfect outfits and really cared about getting to know my husband and I so he could tailor everything to our taste and interests. If you are an actor looking for headshots, John Glover is the best photographer. My experience working with John was incredible. I needed a photographer who can work with glasses and I came across John, who was also recommended to me from The Actor's Studio of Orange County. If you have glasses, don't worry. John makes sure you are still getting amazing photos. Working with him is very relaxing, he makes sure you're comfortable, and at ease. I had to get headshots taken for the first time outside of a work or school setting. I did some google searches for local headshot photographers and came across John. I sent him an email and he was very responsive and helpful, so I decided to schedule him. He also was able to bring in his own hair and makeup artist, which was very easy and appreciated. He gave me lots of pointers, ample time to look at what he was doing, change, and make sure we got some good ones taken. I just got the photos back and love them. I do not consider myself photogenic. I needed a headshot for a speaking engagement so I did an on-line search & found John Glover Photography. I telephoned him & talked about my needs. The photo-shoot was fun. John's silly sense of humor helped me smile naturally as contrasted with my typical deer in the headlights forced smile look.  I posted my photo on my FB page & got great feedback with my favorite comment being that my friend has never seen me so relaxed. I had the pleasure of having my headshots taken by John, and have to admit that he's more of a professional magician than a photographer. I had no idea I was such a good-looking guy until I saw the photos that came back from my shoot. John gave very good pointers on how to accentuate all your features. He'll tell you to move your head or other body parts to align you in a way that takes off those 50 or so pounds the camera adds. So glad to get in touch with John through The Actor's Studio of OC! It was such a pleasure working with him! He directs very thoroughly to make sure you get the best shots possible, even as a beginner model/actor. I couldn't recommend John enough! I am starting my own business and needed some new headshots. I was referred to John by a friend. Scheduling a time through his online system was very easy and convenient. I was also given a recommendation list of "do's and don'ts" for the big day.John and his staff was very professional. We ran through a number of different poses and a few outfits to find out what looked best. John is seriously an expert and has a special ability to help you feel comfortable in front of the camera. I'm trying to start my own business so I wanted a professional looking picture. Obviously I'm not the average person. I explained this upfront from the beginning and he never treated me any different or revealed that he was uncomfortable with the situation. He was extremely professional and kind through the whole session. He also made me laugh quite a bit which is important. I wanted to attempt to remove as much of the medical equipment as possible. I knew there is no way to make me look non-disabled, but I also I feel that sometimes the medical stuff can be distracting for me especially to people that don't know me. I'm not ashamed, I know it's part of who I am but in the business world, I want clients to see me. John photoshopped out my trach as well as my wheelchair. I think he did a beautiful job! Above all, what impressed me the most was the dedication. One thing I hate most about being a disabled professional woman is that attitude "that's good enough, what can we really do with her?" Lol! It's true, unfortunately people still think that way and I have experienced this a lot. Not being taken seriously. When I did the photo shoot he said it would take about a week to do the photoshopping. About a week later I emailed him to ask for an update for my pictures. I wasn't in a hurry but I didn't want him to forget about me. His response was that he was not satisfied with the photoshopping and asked if I minded waiting a few more days for it be done up to his standards. Like I said, I wasn't in a hurry. But I was very, very pleased that he cared enough to make sure it was done right or at least to the best of his ability. He's very professional and took his time, never rushed me or made me feel like I was an inconvenience. I would definitely recommend him. I have attached the picture because I think it's as close to perfection as anybody can get. Keep in mind, I have a trach coming out of my neck and I have a head rest that supports my head in the wheelchair. Both of those were removed. Thank you, John, for everything! More...

John is very kind and knows how to explain things the general population. In the beginning of session, I was really tensed and you could see it in my face. John helped me relax by encouraging my inner confidence and letting my judgments go! I liked how he showed me the photos in between shots and explained what worked and what didn't (posing wise). Another bonus was his customer service. I met John and his team at a local business fair and received my first headshot then. I was NOT happy. The crop was odd and the editing was dark - BUT, I explained my concerns to John and he offered me another chance to take them because he wants his customers to be satisfied.
