John Adrian is a Photographer with many years of experience shooting commercially. John's work is varied and he is comfortable working all situations, studio and on location. It's difficult to find a photographer who has as varied a folio as John, partly because of John's long experience working in branding and advertising, and partly because of his fantastic knowledge of how to construct a successful photo.

Needed John at short notice for photography accompanying an interview I was doing. Nice set of shots, of which we have used four of the main subject, with some extras I wasn't expecting of the outside of the building, of which we have now used two. Reasonable rate too.

What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
The 'secret' to taking a great photograph isn't the camera, or the lighting setup, those things must be taken for granted. The real key to unlocking great photography is building excellent communication between a client, or a portrait subject, and the photographer. Photographs are visual ideas. The photographer's job is make the job simple, clear and effective.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
Can you show me an example of the kind of photograph you'd like to achieve?
What do you love most about your job?
Spending time with a wide variety of people & animals, in changing locations.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have always been self-employed. I have always wanted to make photographs. And I still do, 30 years after picking up my first camera.
Why should our clients choose you?
I've got massive experience. From advertising and product photography, animal images, corporate portraits and industrial photos, I've shot all of the world, and I feel inspired to make photographs everyday. In short, i love my job, and I always want to produce great work.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Absolutely none. I don't believe in Lockdowns. I need to get out and see the people I'm going to shoot.
