Joe was the photographer for our wedding on 15th October and I only have positive comments to make. Joe was early for the start of the morning and got photos of both the bridal party and groomsmen getting ready. He was very relaxed and even provided help with the groomsman's button holes! He fully captured all of the important moments throughout the day and we absolutely love the photos he got of us, and our guests. Our wedding was in September 2022. I can't thank Joe enough for his patience and professionalism on our big day. He arrived early morning for pre-wedding shots and worked right through to the evening never failing to capture the mood of the day and the happiness in the room. The results were incredible and the website design exactly what we needed for friends and family. We contacted him again to assist with putting a wedding album together and we were not dissapointed. Joe was our wedding photographer and he was brilliant! He was friendly, kind, put us both at ease (we are both very camera shy), and has given us the most wonderful photos so we can look back on our special day. He was incredibly patient when gathering everyone for our group shots - we had a lot of little kiddies who weren't playing along and he was so kind and patient to them. He gave us over 1000 brilliant quality photos and captured everything we wanted, lots of smiley beautiful candid photos of ourselves and our guests. Joe was the perfect photographer and asset to the wedding. He blended in, not getting in the way, taking photos without anybody realising he was there. I was amazed how he caught so many people mid belly chuckle, producing the most wonderful and natural looking pictures. He organised the confetti line which took some pressure off me and he gave us plenty of time to mingle with guests before taking us off for our photos. He was very patient with the children too. I think he probably went above and beyond when he assisted my maid of honor in doing up some tricky buttons on my dress. What a wonderful guy! So helpful and a pleasure to deal with. The photos he took for our April 2022 wedding are phenomenal. A mix of High definition perfect documentary style and portrait shots. It was very important to us that the intimate moments were captured and the photos weren't too posy and if you look through Joe's portfolio you know that this seems to be his speciality. Being naturally quite shy I think I threatened to verbally abuse Joe if he appeared near me too many times nevertheless this did not phase him and he put everyone at ease. He managed to include shots of every single guest -all 100 of them- and we are all very grateful. A particular thankyou for being so adaptable and flexible on the day when things weren't running to schedule. Our wedding co-ordinator was something of a disappointment but due to Joe's flexibility and being a genuine lovely person he insisted on staying to get all the key moments and told us not to worry. There are so many wedding photographers available so it comes down to more than just the quality of the photos. The wedding photos were stunning and more than we could ever hope for but on top of this Joe is a lovely guy who you would genuinely want at your wedding. Joe also happens to be one of the only wedding professionals who doesn't exploit his clients by insisting that peak wedding rates/times are 365 days a year! We were originally pressured by to go with a juggernaut of a photography business and we are so glad we didn't. You really are just part of the production line to them. Joe is absolutely amazing! We didn't get to meet before our wedding due to covid but within minutes of him turning up on the day of the wedding, he made everyone feel comfortable. He fit right in with my crazy lot and got some incredible 'getting ready' photos. The wedding guests all really liked how friendly he was and how he seemingly disappeared into the wedding party to catch all those cute little moments. Joe is a talented and experienced photographer, and was a pleasure to work with. We were looking for a photographer for our wedding, and found Joe via Bidvine. We were impressed by his portfolio and style. He always responded quickly and was transparent about his services and costs. During the initial meeting, he listened to us and provided expert guidance. He was understanding and flexible when we had to move our date due to Covid. We met a few weeks before which was great to run through the wedding day schedule and discuss the shots we'd like. On the day, Joe was absolutely fantastic. He has a discrete manner so most of the time we didn't notice he was there. The groom and I are not huge fans of having our photos taken, but he did a wonderful job at gently instructing us and making us feel at ease to get some beautiful portraits. Joe captured our day perfectly. He captured the beautiful setting, all the decorative details I had been busy making over lockdown, as well as the funny, spontaneous moments amongst our guests - some of which we had missed at the time - so that was lovely to see. We especially loved the candid shots! The photographs were stunning - high quality and beautifully composed - and we were given colour and black and white digital versions of each photo. We also received the professional photos within 2 weeks which was very impressive. So many guests have said how great the photos are, and how comfortable they felt around Joe. Our wedding was on 10th April 2022 at Rowhill Grange. Joe was an absolute pleasure to work with. He was very open to what we wanted on our wedding day, which was a more relaxed approach. He made both us and all of our guests incredibly comfortable throughout the day and everyone commented not only on on how professional and lovely he was, but what an amazing job he did on the photos. I booked Joe to do the photography at our wedding. He listened to our ideas, took note of our budget and came up with the perfect package for us. Due to COVID, our wedding day had to be split into part 1 and part 2, and Joe was really accommodating as we selected our second date and was understanding with our financial issues too. Joe really alleviated my stress by chatting with me frequently through texts in the months leading up to the day and we spoke on the phone a week before both wedding days to confirm the running order and shots I wanted to achieve. On the day(s), Joe was on time, professional, courteous and made sure he got all the photographs I wanted. He produced so many fantastic photos (in colour and black & white) it was hard for me to decide which ones to share, so I ended up sharing them all :-) I got many compliments from friends and family. Outstanding quality! We hired Joe for our wedding day, though he was helpful from first contact. Met us at the venue to discuss what we wanted, which put us at ease. Stayed as long as was required rather than charge by the hour and want to have left really early. Had a non intrusive presence with our guests, enabling him to capture raw, natural shots - which look perfect. Nice amount of portrait shots with chance for us to improvise on poses too. Cleaned up the images and did a large selection is black and white also. Easy to access images from the private online portfolio.Not that we plan to marry again, but we’d certainly opt for Joe! At the end of last week, we received the link to photos from our wedding and we were overwhelmed with amazement and joy at how perfectly Joe captured the spirit of the day. When trying to choose just a handful to share on social media, we struggled mightily, because every one was beautiful. We booked Joe extremely last minute - only a week and a half, in fact - because previous arrangements had fallen through. I knew within minutes of speaking to him that he was the right photographer for us, and he was indeed perfect - friendly, professional, excellent at listening to our needs and preferences, unobtrusive but not shy about getting candid shots of the reception, and comprehensive in ensuring that he'd taken photos of all of our friends and special moments. My wife and I asked Joe to be a photographer for our civil wedding and reception. Joe's photos were amazing! Joe has a very natural style with the ability to capture the beauty in the ordinary moments, whilst also providing confident direction to create perfect portraits (which we are making into a canvas for our home).
