I first met Marcia Coffey 15+ years ago, when she originally designed the website for a dentist that I worked for. Working with Marcia was effortless and the product she produced was far superior to others available. Most importantly, under her supervision, traffic was driven to the business and the website proved to be very successful. Since then, I contracted Marcia to design a website for my husbands business; Golden Moments Jewelers, as well as my services; Weddings By Darrylyn. Amazing websites were designed. We both highly recommend J & M Group for their keen eye, professional image and knowledge of not just the design of a successful website, but the ability to drive people to your website, If I could give greater than 5 stars, I would certainly do so! They were very easy to work with, paid a lot of attention to detail, and ultimately gave us the website that we envisioned. Marcia provided excellent guidance and support throughout the process and support once the site was built. We highly recommend them! More...

Q&As

The process of creating a website should begin with the end in mind. It starts with solving a problem, and the most pressing problem of businesses of all sizes is converting visitors

Here are some questions to address the many challenges of any website:

(1) Who is this site for?
(2) How did they find out about it?
(3) What do you want visitors to do when they reach your site?
(4) How will they decide to do that?
(5) What promises do you make to cause that action?

of all sizes is converting visitors.”

Building a website is a collaborative effort. It is about getting to know you ... getting to know all about you! My client.
First, I need to know the goal you have for your website. Or make that goals.

Secondly, who is your Target Audience? The answer to this question determines the content of the website, mainly, the homepage.
There are many other considerations. Please read my article here --> https://www.jmgroup.net/how-web-designers-work/

I love what I do because it is not a job. I work for myself and have for almost 15 years when the web was a newborn. It's been an incredible journey to experience the dramatic changes over the years, and they keep coming! I am a creative person with a background in journalism and communications. This is the only medium that allows an individual to be her own publisher and run a worldwide business with minimal overhead, no employees and no shoes required!

Every day is a new day. There are few yesterdays in web development.

I started this business so long ago that the web could only be accessed via the Mosaic browser on my tiny Mac. My husband wanted to start a publication that would connect start-up businesses seeking capital with money sources. Something called the WorldWideWeb at the time seemed the only way to go. And, so I figured out how to develop a website, coding from scratch without knowing code :) The rest is history.

I think I offer a unique combination of creativity and marketing that is essential for success on the web these days. With all of the web builders around, many people think that it's easy to build a website. Actually they have a point if that is all you want to do! If you want to build a business, market your services and sell your wares, it gets complicated.
