Me and my partner managed to buy our first home thanks to JLM Mortgage Services! But really the credit goes all to our mortgage advisor "Peter Stirrup" @Hitchin. Well, we all know that once the case is with a Senior Underwriter, things are not looking good. Well, after waiting a whole week for a final decision the application was declined but Peter did not accept a defeat and fought against it. After not one but two consecutive complaints, several phone calls and emails, the matter went to the CEO which after reviewing the case decided to grant us the mortgage as we met all criteria - Peter was very accurate! Since leaving my initial review of 1 star, I have taken it upon myself to remove it and decided to change it to 4 stars. I was contacted by the Head of Mortgage Finance following my review who was very apologetic and has reassured me that my issue is being looked into. I was also compensated (which I did not expect) and has convinced me that this is not a usual occurrence. On reflection, if I was to look for a mortgage advisor again in the future I would probably try them again knowing that any issues will be dealt with promptly and with sympathy. More...

Phil Gander was great from start to finish and continues to be great with aftercare. We felt in safe hands from the moment we met Phil, he is very friendly, with lots of experience and gives you complete assurance with his professional and proactive manner.
