Jodie and his team at short notice did their magic to correct a badly done painting job from another firm. Wishful thinking hindsight & kicking myself i should have picked Jodie from the start to have done all the renovations. Jodie and i went around the home to review all the jobs his professionals had corrected. I was happy, sibling that lives at the home was happy with how much Jodie transformed the family home. Only picked basic magnolia and white (wish been braver now with suggested colour ideas from Jodie that can work.)

I used Jodie and his guys to redecorate my lounge. This involved stripping off the old paper, prepping and lining the walls and repainting. Jodie gave me a fixed price for the job and stuck to it. Jodie also organised re plastering a chimney breast for £50 less than I had been quoted elsewhere. The team always turned up when they said they would. Kept in contact throughout letting me know what would be happening on what day. Provided receipts for any materials purchased. Cleaned up after the work. I would definitely recommend Jodie as a good honest tradesman. Good standard of work for a fair price. More...

We are very pleased with the results of using J & L Painters and Decorators to strip lining paper and decorate our hall, staircase and landing. One of Jodie’s employees came and stripped the walls in a day, then there was a gap of just over a week whilst a plasterer Jodie had recommended came to repair and skim our crumbly plaster. Finally Jodie and two employees completed the whole job in a day: base coat and two top coats on the walls, plus glossing of woodwork. Jodie and his team were very friendly and approachable, arrived when they said they would, and offered to return if we spotted anything they had missed. After reading great reviews on here I booked J&L for a days work, we agreed a price and date. They carried out the job to the highest standard, I was worried about little snags they might hit but nothing was too much trouble. Pleased to say I am very happy with the work. i would highly recommend them to friends, very friendly to deal with and reasonably priced also. More...

Contacted a number of Painter & Decorators to have my house freshened up from top to bottom. J&L were the only one out of 10 that got back in touch to give me a quote etc. Was happy with the quote and they given me a timeframe of 5 days to have the work completed - work was completed within 3 days! Work was carried out to a high standard and the guys were very easy to work around. They even went above and beyond to sort out a few issues I had prior to them starting work. After work was complete, I found a few small things that needed touching up but the guys were one step ahead and already had it on there to do list. After the team completed and left, I then found a few smaller things that needed touching up (the guys said that they can be out whenever suits me to sort the issues however I’m not that picky and was happy to deal with myself) Would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for some work to be done.
