John and the lads done my patio and decking, made a really good job, looks lovely now, would recommend them as they turn up on time, complete the work on time, are polite and work hard, thank you for a job well done.

Fraudulent! DO. NOT. USE!
Had works booked in for 6 months. 1 month before the works were due he tried to massively increase the price;
which was unaffordable. He was unprofessional enough not to factor in cost increases when making giving the total price. He refused to return the deposit, despite no written policy in place in respect of this, resulting in a breach of contract.
He was rude and unprofessional about our plight, using 'thumbs up' emojis to our pleas. We were forced to sue, which he ignored. The Judge ordered judgement against him and he still ignored us. After 10 months , and only when threatened with bailiffs, did he return our deposit with a very nasty and unprofessional message. There is still £70 outstanding for legal costs; hence the review.
If you look back through old reviews, it is not the first time! So do look back! My advice is DO NOT USE! It is not worth the stress and aggravation!

So happy with the work John and his team completed on our back garden last week , They laid a new extended patio and raised ,levelled and re turfed the lawn the end result was even better than we had imagined . They turned up bright an early each day in not the best of weather .They worked so hard and had the job completed in just 4 days . Just had our garden landscaped (decking replaced by Indian stone, low reclaimed brick edgings installed,lawn returfed, etc) by John and his two great assistants. The workmanship is superb - and I am a perfectionist! They worked extremely hard throughout and kept us informed at every stage of the work.When they left the garden and driveway had been thoroughly cleaned - and all this done at a very reasonable price.We now have a picture-postcard garden! J&l landscapes redesign my back garden the service provided from start to finish was exceptional. John came around and went through the options flags patio shapes etc the worked started on the date discussed John and his team turned up and within a few hours the garden was completely ripped out they then started laying the patio. The job was completed ahead of schedule so we got a quote to turf the front the price was good so got them to do it whilst they were still there they are a polite and good mannered team who work so hard I wouldn't hesitate at using j&l landscapes again as the job was done brilliantly More...

J&l landscapes fitted a a new fence and lawn a few weeks ago the work was very good. The Fence gave us the privacy we needed and the lawn laid was like a bowling green john gave us instructions to look after the lawn till it established itself which was very helpful
We would certainly recommend john to anyone looking for a reasonable priced landscaper with high quality work.

John came to price my garden he turned up on time and gave me a quote there and then which was not the cheapest quote but he was very confident in how good his work was which convinced us to go with him.
We have no regreats the garden turned out lovely nice sandstone patio with a new lawn john and his lads were some of the hardest workers I've seen starting at 7:30 and didn't stop all day very polite and accommodating would recommend to anyone in which I already have

I am shocked to see such bad reviews about J & L Landscaping. I had contacted a number companies last year who never materialised.
I contacted John and he turned up that day as promised. I explained to John the style of driveway I would like and he explained and showed me a variety of stones slabs and driveway designs. John and his team arrived on the day and on time they worked hard the driveway was almost completed on the first day. My driveway is SUPERB my neighbours have also commented on the work done and about John and his team.. I also had J&L Landscaping design a new patio area and re-flagged my garden AGAIN yet another excellent work done.
This company I would recommended to anyone looking for reliable tradesmen.

John came through for us with flying colors for the second time in a row!
A few weeks ago we entrusted J+L landacapes to design and accomplish a freah new look to my garden including; fencing, turfing, plants,walkway and a brick built BBQ for our new home. Not only did john and crew accomplish all the work before the expected completion date but also exceeded all of our expectations in every way. Therefore, it will be no surprise at all when we will be calling john again without hesitation when we decide to get are front drive completed. we needed someone who we could trust and do a job to a high spec and J+L landscapes are the best without a doubt! Also, any other landscaping needs you owe it to yourself to give John a call.

Dreadful! Employed MR Lucas to install a new patio which he said would take a week, but had to dismiss him after 3 days. Work shoddy nothing level no excavation done not laid straight and incorrect concrete mix used so no adhesion to the stone. Installed a drain run and did not plumb it into our waste water drain just left it to drain into the subsoil. When challenged about his work he began<span id="moreReview600280" class="hide"> shouting and was abusive to the extent that the police were called and removed him from site.
